I saw it in the bazaar on Maelin for only 50k today. BTW, I have killed the dudes circling the temple many times, and have had at least several legs, sleeves, belts, and gloves drop. Maybe up to a dozen of the gloves. And never did I have a tunic drop. So I agree that the tunic is the rarest of the grey flesh drops.

Same diff, but 1ac less, 5hp more and 0.5 wt. AND you can use it to get epic, so by the time your high enuf to buy/camp this, you can get something better.
A pretty standard formula type thingy for monk equipment is: 1 ac=2 sta=8 hp. So with Robe of the Lost Circle you lose 1 ac, that means it needs to have about 8 hp more to even out the loss, considering the stat adds are exactly the same. Well it looks to me like it has only 5 more hp. I know this difference is minimal, but also consider the time put into the Robe of the Lost Circle quest. I mean come on! And if you are an Iksar monk like myself, who is wearing this tunic you see, getting the Robe of the Lost Circle is going to be probably the biggest pain in the world. I'm talking Qeynos faction, and FP faction getting way up there. Or if you don't want to quest it, you could just kill Brother Zephyl in Rathe Mountains for it. (Don't kill Brother Quinn for it, his spawn time is bad enough for other monks questing the Robe, they don't need you killing him) Of course though, if you go killing Brother Zephyl, don't forget the fact that he is level 61. So you still think that throwing a good 80 hours (I'm serious...it's that bad) into the Robe of the Lost Circle quest. Or would you rather camp the Grey Flesh Tunic in The Grey, or just do what I did, pick one up in the bazaar for 4k. Next time do your homework before you go off saying that people should just get the Robe of the Lost Circle instead of this great tunic.

This item is NOT the common drop. In fact it is the ultra rare drop of this mob. Common is belt, less common is sleeves and this is the rarest. I have gotten 4 belts, 3 sleeves and just got the Tunic.

People dont bother wasting money on this if u are a monk...more than likely you as a monk are going to quest or at least attempt at questing for your epic...where the robe of the lost cicle comes in quite early into it...of course after u get epic it sure would be a nice replacement of rotwf or rotlc..
I'd say this is a great tunic, especally for those of us who wish we had a chest piece with the same stats as our ol` rotlc, and cant afford PSC yet, Fungi is a joke, just wear one if you want to solo and have no life whatsoever and can't group with people ;p
I have the ROTWF now, and I like it, but most people just wear a fungi or some other tunic like this one and switch the rotwf in when they need to refresh the song. For being non twinked, this is sure a nice tunic to obtain on a guild raid, or for 5k even, I been trying to buy one, but no one is selling them today, tried all day too... I thought about doing the rotlc again,, but I hate the way robes look, I can't show off my rippling scaled arms or chest ;p I definetly want one, I'll have all my wonderful ROTLC stats back, with none of the *robe*

allah pricing can be over raided take the last 3-6 prices in the last 3 months minus any rediculusly stupid ones i.e, 1cp and etc devide by 2 and theres your decent price

1k??? what server are you on? This is easily worth 5k. It's comparable to Sythrak hide vest or netted kelp tunic. It has almost identical stats to RotLC. For a monk there are not many mid range chest items that are this good that aren't a quest or no drop.

and based on the stats I would think it would sell for more (compare to a Syythrak Hide Vest). However, within a few days of the release of Luclin, I have already seen three for sale in EC at about 4k pp. Then I heard there were AoE groups in the Grey pulling and killing 40-60 mobs at a time and scarfing up the loot. I don't know if this was one of the mobs that was included in the mass-killings but it might explain the abundance of these tunics out there. Still a nice tunic until you get to the Planes or can do your Velious quest armor. If there are that many out there I would imagine the price will drop some.
I heard it was a dark grey with straps criss-crossing over the chest (with Luclin installed). Can anyone describe any better? Is it more like a Gi or a full tunic? Also, what does it look like without the Luclin graphic? Anyone have any ideas? I would wear this instead of my RotLC only if it looked better, stats are almost identical.

It looks like a Gi with the Luclin graphics. At the moment the whole chest area is tinted dark grey, which looks odd, but hopefully they'll fix the skin-tinting issue soon.

No way. this is the equivalent of a RoLC. while it is good, its an easy quest for a determined mid-40's monk. PSC is much better, Fungi is better, RoWF is much better, etc etc...

Except you have to turn in your ROTLC if you want your epic. Unless you want to camp Raster twice.

Definite upgrade to CCS, especially since my monk is a human.. Robes are ugly on humans, IMO. Pre-luclin, that is. Which is all I've seen, since SoL broke my puter ;P

Fungi Tunic will still be a twinkers/uber choice, for soloing. The Gold Threaded Tunic for raids, if you were lucky enough to get one. I'm still kicking myself for not running through two zones to pick one up.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Gold Star Chest Wraps?
The Golden Threaded Tunic, as listed here at Alla, drops in Upper Guk and has no stats (ok, 6 AC but nothing that makes it raid gear...like resists). I can't imagine anyone even wanting this item let alone kicking themselves for not going out of their way to get one...
