I got this off the Chest from Ancient Megalodon 1.5 kill in lake Rathe

Epic 1.5 is what you get as the intermediate reward. Basically, you either get epic 1 or the bypass quest, do the 1.5 up to the reward, then if your guild is able to raid into Citadel of Anguish, then you can expect to upgrade to 2.0
Allakhazam lists all quests as 2.0, from start to finish. So 1.5 is what you do up to the intermediate reward.
This item drops in raids before you obtain the 1.5 intermediate epic. The "real" 2.0 raids drop NODROP 200+ mana/hp items.

What is the 1.5 epic? The new one is the 2.0,the original is the 1.0 where is the 1.5 listed and where do I get it.

The 1.5 epic is the Middle point between Old world epic and the new 2.0, sooooo, start the 2.0 quest, and when you get halfway, you will have epic 1.5, Pursue onward if you have the fire power at your disposal for the Uber Drool Tool.
1.5 is also quite a nice weapon too from what i have seen.
