If you look at this item when held in primary it's pretty nice, a lot better than a GBS or whatever youre using because of the Cha and Mana. Now put it in your range and its totally awesome, so you can keep it and still use your epic! I'd go as far as to say this thing is the best range slot item you could get for an enchanter, short of a White Dragon Idol or something...

Actually, I'd say the best range slot an Enc could get is the Hate Crystal. Int 5, HP 75, Mana 75

I would have to say the Hate Crystal is a nice range item due to the HP's and Mana, but the Grandmaster Jeweler's Eyeglass is also a nice piece for the range slot. (10 STR, 10 WIS, 10 INT, 50 CHA)

The Effect "Shiftless Deeds" is a level 44 Enchanter (of course) Slow spell. It will slow the attack speed of a MOB between 49 and 65%. Granted, its not as good as the high end shaman spells, but in the absense of a shaman, this is quite useful to have. Not sure what the cast time is on this, but since Shiftless deeds costs 200m, I would use this quite a bit. I find many times that I actully slow mobs, the cast time doesnt matter anyway as I am slowing MOBS that I already have mezed and just waiting on the tanks to get to... Certainly a nice piece of equip to throw in range slot. This is by no means a "Twink" item due to the level both to obtain (well, without farming... since its not no drop) and due to the fact that u wont be able to click this puppy til at least level 44...

You are right, this is not a twink item. Twink items have ac/hp/mana and if its a weapon it has at least a 2 dly/dam ratio with the damage being 12 or below. This here has only 35 mana going for it so it is definately not a twink item. If you have an alt account or a friend with a decent level druid you are much better using a caster as a tank untill you reach your 30s

So, First of all, I must say i dont think i would replace my glamour rod with this in normal situations... I dont really care to DO any melee so its not worth me attempting to actully GET a hit *and* a proc just to slow a mob. I was hoping, and assuming like the glamour rod, it was a clicky thingy... I was hoping that the recent chardok patch was going to give us chanter's some "druidesque" toys. Right now the only right click things we get are basically Rune/Clarity/Invis from Vel. Quest gear, Alliance (faction boost) from glamour rod <by the time i got this I had better versions of the spell and don't use this thing as anything but a spam light show>, and it appears now an earring that procs our DS "feedback." Ok, so which of these is really useful?

By the time u get the crack pants u already have either group Clarity or c2 not to menchion the cast time on the pants...

Rune Robe, dont have it but told now that it doesnt require a regent... If that is the cast, then sure its useful, if not true then i would prefer to save my Peri's and use Rune V on myself for the same cost...

Invis shoes - Well, by now i have improved and i dont have to worry about it fading on me....

Earring - Nice toy, handy for soloing and when u dont have a Real DSer in your group.

So basically PLEASE TELL ME that its a click proc =) I want some new toys... heh If it was then it would be a useful range slot item for the forseeable future for me... It wouldnt really be a twink item cuz of the level this thing *assumeably* procs at... Just my thoughts....

I wish when someone puts a cool item up that they include where it droped for them and what mob. Just knowing it droped in chardok is useless. Does it drop in the begining, near the library, at zoneout? Is it a named mob, does it have a ph? Is it random? I appreciate the fact that we know it exists but i'm sure we'd all like to know the who as well as the where.

Not sure if its changed, but Chardok used to be floating loot table, so anything could drop anything, other then royal loot. Thats probably why no one posts who drops these things unless its princy kingy or queeny

I think I'm gonna have to go make myself a chanter just so I can beat down MOBs with a piece of paper. And I thought the idea of using a bowl to hit things was wild (Yet the Harvester is not a weapon, explain that to me)

hehe, this isnt the first deadly writing the sarnaks have come up with, one of the named spawns in the sarnak fort of loio also drops a rare book, which i believe is called the iron bound tome, which has a closed book graphic when held and is a blunt wpn. now why the sarnaks are so hell bent on having literary wpns is beyond me, but they still make for alot of fun and great conversation pieces.
