People who are obsessed with looks in EQ are stupid. If there were a 20 20 weapon, I would use it, even if it looked like watering can or a video tape.
In any case, these are nice but don't sell your soul for them. Seen em for like 2k on povar, sometimes more...but I would never pay that price.
Lucked out the other day and saw a pair in Ayonae Ro's bazaar for 1400pp ... yes I snapped them up and have already been offered much over what I paid for them , but for now I think I will go the vanity route and keep them. With the new /dopropertinting command the look is awesome with my Nathsar leg , vambracers , bracers and gauntlets. I'm not looking for the boots and bp because I have imbued elven on my legs and chest and the green and blue look is awesome ... I had to set up a hot key to say what I'm wearing ...
Plus the stats on the combined pieces aren't to shabby wis up to 189
Was never going to sell my pair, but when someone was offering 16k worth of trades for a pair of Nathsar legs, I did (had turned down many offers around 6k before that). And I got all 16k from that. So yes, you might find a pair if you really up the stakes, but like everyone says, you see 4-5 folks saying WTB Nathsar <legs/BP/etc.> on any given day, and only the ones offering insane amounts (35k for both legs and tunic) are having any luck. On Xev anyhow.
If anyone found a way to farm this stuff, they'd make a killing.
Vanity is constantly the death of my bank account in EQ. No doubt after I bought them some raiders from Chardok will run around with a pair to sell for 2k tomorrow, sigh. But, here is how it was explained to me. These pants give about 19-20ac when worn for only 1 stone of weight, which, I'm told, makes them one of the best pairs of monk pants out there. I bought my pair today from a monk for 7k or so total value of trading. He bought them from another monk for 8k.
As a priest class, I was looking at the wis, and I had already had those gatorscale leggings forever. Everyone (priest classes) seems to get the sleeves in their 40's. I recently did some tailoring work to get a trade of the Nathsar gauntlets. Long story short, I wanted purple pants darn it! The monk didn't want to trade at first, but finally agreed to let me replace them with acrylia reinforced leggings I tailored plus 5k cash. I do think it was a lot of money, but supply and demand. Right now on my server, there is no supply. :( Luckily, I also can benefit from the AC and the Cha bonus and saves are nice as well.
I'm glad I could use my tailoring, again, to help me get some more Nathsar. At least with my acrylia studded tunic on, I don't need to fork over 10k for a Nathsar BP. These prices are pretty rough though with a lot of variation. A wis caster will probably sell them to you cheaper than a monk, so keep that in mind when arranging a price.
Fashion notes (Luclin Models): For Wood Elf females: The Nathsar Vambraces look like the 'leather look' sleeves with a smooth purple overtone from shoulder to elbow. The Nathsar Bracers and Gauntlets are also leather look with the purple overtone where skin would show for forearms and fingers. The Nathsar Leggings are actually purple over newbie, (newbie as in naked or cloth "pants" not newbie leather) light brown pants with purple tone up to your middle (belly button) where your tunic ends with the long pants down to the tops of your boots and purple tone on your skin.
If you're sick of olive green knickers and you're not already in your uber armor, I say go for it. It's a cute alternative if you can find them for sale or get them yourself.
As for the human males, you end up looking like you're wearing purple tights. I could not tell if that was the naked newbie pants look or the cured silk pants look for human monks.
Nathsar BP drops ONLY in the royals area from random mobs, leggings drop from Underboss Myli'ki, Observer Aq'touz drops the bracer, Watch Sergeant Riz'oul drops the vambraces, gauntlets are random from any mob

I am curious as to what classes would want these besides monks and druids. I am of course referring to players who are high enough level to go after these items. Please don't respond if you are level 10 and wearing something you made yourself from animal skins. I am sure that an untwinked low level warrior would LOVE to have these hehe.
these pants are only really good for monks. every other class can wear the kromrif military leggings and not worry about the 4 weight on them. heh, it is kind of sad.
i am not saying that this is a monk only item as a disclaimer. just saying everyone else can use better, and that kromrif military leg quest is pretty simple.
The Krom pants quest is also MIND-NUMBINGLY boring. I'd rather spend the time killing and getting exp in Chardok, rather than sitting in GD waiting for the frickin' Broodmother to spawn.
I would actually prefer these to Kromriff Military Leggings on my druid. The str and extra 2ac aren't as valuable as the 4cha, 4agi, and 2sv magic on these. Plus, lets not forget the killer look.
I am not quite high enough to get them. But rangers would wear them i am wearing 13 ac pants right now. The one less ac but the wis, agi and cha gain would be worth the one less ac (yes I would lose 3 dex and 2 sta). But once again I would like to refer to the fact I am only 50 and not the greatest equiped ranger.

Certainly be more fashionable than gatorlegs. I love the look of these pieces. If I could get a full visible suit of it, my monk would wear it least when I wasn't maxing equipment for tough fights.
Good equipment for Druids and Monks, especially to look different.
On my 51 Ogre shaman, they also look royal blue, but a bit more purple than on a half elf druid I know who also has them. They also have some funky darker design running through them, as does all the Nathsar armor on my ogre.
Im not sure what they look like on all of the races that can wear them, but I saw a pair of Nathsar Sleeves on a Wood Elf druid and they looked like royal blue and black leather. Really sweet looking. Now if they look that cool Halfling druids, I'll be impressed....
