Scars of VeliousYah so I looted a Flame Kissed Tear the other night cause nobody else wanted to spend RPP on it. Then come to find out I need like three more items to complete the boots and my guild is going giant faction in a hurry. Ah well, hopefully I can nail down a runed tear and two symbols soon, then for the long process of factioning CoV again. Probably is worth it for such a nice upgrade. The boots I have now are like 21 ac 5 wis 20 hps and are SS quest bootzorz. These would be a significant upgrade, and the AoB effect is great for anyone who plays a shaman.
Right now with AoB effects and AA regen I'm at 9 hp/tic standing, and I'm a barbarian. Add regrowth and that's 24 hp/tic, bearform and that's 26hp/tic, which really isn't bad regen at all. Boots would bring me up two more points, which would be nice.
Really the only thing I dont like about these boots is the absence of +hp modifier. Tho I suppose the +10stam would equate to 40 hps from the boots, that works. :D
I'm kinda a hp nut these days, and things gotta have tons of hps on them to impress me. That's cause I have to be at nearly 4k total hps to survive using my incredibly valuable canni5 skill which takes 1924hps away each time I click that button and gives me 1100 mana. Needless to say tho, I can fill up my own mana bar in about 3 minutes from empty. That's better mana regen than any other class in the game. Ah, it's good to be a shaman.

These are charcoal black in appearance. Lvl 60 Cleric friend of mine has them, one of three or four known pairs on Tribunal. They're really good for all wis casters, and thus all wis casters can use them. Clerics need it because they do get hit and any extra regen helps, if they don't have to waste their mana healing themselves (or the Druids or Shammies mana either) that means they can just be in there healing even more.
IMHO....would go to whoever was most dedicated to the guild. So you've got a 60 Cleric who has been in guild two months, a 60 Druid who has been in guild four....I'd give em to the Druid. Why? Who's to say that 60 Cleric ain't gonna move on after getting them? For that matter, the Druid might as well, but the Druid has been in longer and there's less of a chance.
Any good guild leader realises this...Thus, there aren't many good guilds out there.

got these a couple days ago. they are result of test of the long battle that you do with Gozz in West wing of ToV
you need emerald tear, flame kissed tear (both off Doze), black symbol and glowing orb. the effect adds 2hp/tick regen and 13atk and is permanent and can't be cast on other people.
Mobs in ToV are 60+.. at least they con even, yellow or red to my 60 Cleric, but can be done with 2 groups
the named that drop the symbols and orbs are a little harder, but Doze is a real nasty one, takes guild size raid to kill him
you can also kill the quest givers in West Wing, and while close to the quests, have no effects on them (at least the stuff we seen drop so far)
while the effect is not a big deal for clerics, it beats the summon water off the Sky Shrine armor quests :)

These boots come from a quest which starts in the Temple of Veeshan. You must kill Dozekar the Cursed in the Halls of Testing (east wing TOV) in order to acquire one of the four pieces necesary to make these boots. You also need ally faction with the Claws of Veeshan.
The four pieces required to make these boots are:
Platinum Tear (dropped off Dozekar the Cursed)
Emerald Symbol
Platinum Symbol
Silver Symbol
The symbols dropped from a variety of named mobs in the Halls of Testing. You turn in these four items to one of the quest-giving dragons in Temple of Veeshan, and they will give you the boots.

With stats like those, I am concerned about Fasion. Are you people kidding? With a pair of boots that does all that I would wear them if HOT PINK. I am new to questing for items, I assume these components are very difficult to get ahold of? Or is it possible one could aquire individual components and then turn them in. Like ont he screaming mace, I could most likely buy BOB and DWARVEN TUNIC at tunnel. Is that the case with these Items, I can look em up, but im curious of the lvl of these things.

I certainly don't mean to burst a bubble of any kind. I too remember the day I first heard about things like Dragonscale Armor and the like. And, at around 15th level, I thought "Well, hell. I'm going to quest these things! I'll be the coolest 15th level Ranger in the game!"

If you've read the above posts, they mention the ToV. Temple of Veeshan. You don't want to go there. Not for a really, really long time. The mobs there are 55+, there isn't much of a chance of you getting in there and living for long without a good guild. And there's a level limit to get in in the first place, so it'll be a long time before you, or I for that matter, get in there.

This is a quest in Temple of Veeshan. Its given by Gozzrem, the quest is named "The Test of the Long Battle". It requires 2 tears from Dozekar, Flame Kissed and a Runed Tear, also a Black Symbol and a Glowing Orb. EQ'Lizer is VERY wrong with their ToV quests so dont even bother looking there. The boots when worn are black, and look like Jboots/Efreeti boots in inventory. They are awesome boots my friend got one a week or so ago.
The effect is permenant, not right click like Sheild of the Fearsome, so it stacks with every Aura of battle. Its 3hp per tick regen and 10 atk.

Since all of the items lately have been from ToV, and looking at the stats on this one, I would hazard a guess that this came from ToV, even though I have never noticed this guild submitting uber loot before...I could be wrong.
