Just looted this of Serfeant Heblaen that cons green to me. he was next to village when heading to EW from WL.

Looted one of these last night. 2h for primary or secondary. There are a few 2h items in game with these "inaccurate" markings, but they do exsist.
Still don't know what this thing is doing on a mob that summons. Seems to me he could loot a few PCs for better items. 8) Any new quests from CoV that could implement this?

I seriously wish there was a way to PROVE it was fake. because it sounds it, but then again it could be a typo. god KNOWS we had enough of those :). Seriously though does anyone know why 10 guys have to all post that this thing sucks even though everyone else is saying the same thing? I think it is peer pressure.

for kael, this sucks hardcore..... i hope they have a quest that needs this as an item....
This is, for the place it drops, a pathetic weapon. It is also a Lore item. These two factors in conjunction lead me to believe that it is a quest item. Which quest? Not a clue. I personally, as a Scot, am tired of claymores in general being handed the crappy stats (some exceptions exist, I know, save the flames) but that's my personal problem. If anyone has a lead on this item, and what quest it may be for, a post would be helpful.

call me a fool but alot of stuff here is no drop this isnt, quest item maybe but most are no drop . we will just have to wait and find out what this is for, but i do agree it sux worse then a runic calver if im not wroung

this item is either fake or bugged. being a 2hs and secondary slot equipable isn't possible.
I have held onto one and moved it to a mule because I think that it will be for some quest at some point. There are still plenty of quests that are missing from Skyshrine and Thurgadin (It was not too long ago that Verant said they wanted to make this quests even, because right now the Kael quests are just SO much better, and more easily done). I will hold onto mine. The people that are comparing it to the Giant Tree Flayer etc, that is just silly, I can take out like 10 Mountain Giants in melee, but maybe maybe one Kael Giant, there is no comparison.

Hmmmmm.. you have a point. This could very well be a bogus item.
...if you can duel wield it... drool... it may have a use, after all!
EDIT: What it probably means is that you can put it in either the primary or secondary hand slots... of course, the Primary hand slot is the one that gives you the strength bonus, therefore making this useless. It may be for a quest, though, or simply just mercahnt fodder, as someone suggested.

Lets think about this; hmmm, Blackened Alloy Bastardsword 24/39 +3sv poison, and ths 18/45 and neg stats. BABS is definitely better. And you actually have a chance to get a BABS with a good group of lvl 25 char or you can buy one for 400 to 600pp
Hell, Langseax of the Wolves rocks this thing... 19 44, with 5 str and 5 dex. Even the fricking Drakkel Forged ******* Sword rocks this thing.

I think this item was put in here because every zone cannot have uber items. Its like if you look back at frontier mountains... Leg-Chopper, Giant Tree Flayer? Who uses them? I think this is one of those weapons where verant is telling you "Go see the merchant, he might give you something for it"
Ok will buy that not every zone can have uber items, but this is Kael Drakkel, we are talking one of the 3 cities in Velious and all of these places (not as much thurgadin as Icewall but you get the point) for the nice items. This is sorta a odd drop, will agree that its merchant fodder regardless of what verant intended.
