At level 56, I'm frustrated with the shawl quests and just glad that I got myself a bonus item like the Seal of Thoridain along the way. After seeing this, it's quite possible that acquiring this shawl would be a relatively painless endeavor when compared with grinding your way through all the Coldain shawls. Not to mention, killing difficult mobs is more fun than giving yourself carpal tunnel working on tedious tradeskills, in my opinion.
Well, this shawl drops from Lady Mirenilla in the very difficult north wing of Temple of Veeshan. It might be more fun to get 40 of your closest level 60 friends and spend a month or so figuring out how to break into North ToV before this drops rather than work on trade skills, but it's not exactly trivial.
So, you take all the time doing the prayer shawl quest, getting all of those tradeskills over 150 and then all you have to do is kill some crap in ToV (LOL) and you get something just as good. Notice it isn't No Drop either... WOW, and Boo VI.
Yeah, all you have to do is get YOURSELF AND YOUR GUILD AND YOUR FRIENDS AND THEIR FRIENDS all up to about level 60, and spend months getting armor in the Halls of Testing in ToV and getting weapons for all the melee in DN and Sleepers Tomb, and then, and only then, can you, can all those other people finally expect to survive in the ToV North Hall where these things drop.
It was a joke, notice the "all you have to do is kill some mobs in ToV (LOL)." I am in no way downplaying the extreme rarity and the difficulty of the North Hall or its mobs, it was a flat out joke, and I needed to vent after I started the stupid shawl quest.
Well with all saves instead of cold. Stamina, Mana and Hit Points in addition to Intelligence and Wisdom. Not to mention an additional 5 ac... oh yeah its real simular, sorta like fine plate is simular to crafted only it doesn't have stats. Between the 2 I would much rather have this one were it in my cabability to get, as it is I will probably settle for a Coldain shawl.
