fyi banded does drop in some zones like najena for example, so dont post if you dont know =p

Because banded doesn't drop from mobs, that's why.
Back in the days before banded existed, if you couldn't afford to buy chainmail from merchants, you camped for ringmail (and some people still do). That's exactly what this is, except it has a different name and a brown tint.

This armor weighs too much. Bamboo is *light*.
I don't think Kobolds are known for their smithing abilities, maybe it's splinted with lead
