Yep, it's a Monky item alright. The effect "Hug" makes em feel better about being Monks. To get the spell to go off, all they got to do is whine, so basically you'll see little dolls permanently affixed to all the Monks faces once they get this, hehe.

There aren't 2 dolls. There are 14 dolls (soon to be 15). These dolls are part of the PoM armor quests. Different dolls come from different gift boxes... each class has their own gift box. I'm not gonna give away the whole quest (mainly because it's a long quest and I can't remember it off of the top of my head) but I just thought I'd let you know that there is a doll for each class, and they're used in the armor quests.

They probably made two dolls because they are LORE items, and the effect MAYBE can stack(I'm not sure...but could be a reason). Also, might need the +4 CHA, and having two is good, the Red, AND the Blue.

This is identical to the Doll created from the Red Gift Box, and since usable by all classes and races I don't see why they would create 2 items that do the same thing.

Note the diffrent names, i am sure that the diffrent boxes that produce diffrent dolls are for diffrent quests.
