Just for your information, version 1.0 of PoM exists on on Al'Kabor (aka the Mac server) and I have confirmed that you CANNOT combine the Buckler of Doom in the Pot of Gold with Words of Wealth to make Funny Money. It won't combine.
I have also confirmed that the mushroom bracelet (two throne combo), the mask of melodies (one throne combo) and greaves of distraction (two throne combo) all combine with Words of Wealth to yield Funny Money.
On Al'Kabor, Peachy asks for 4 Funny Money to get a Gift Box and that's how many I had to hand her. Finally, I confirmed that the color of the gift box returned is random and not matched to the class of the toon doing the Funny Money turn in. My mage turned in, and I got a Silver Gift Box that summons dolls for Shaman class doll armors.

This quest may or may not be obsolete following the Plane of Mischief revamp in October 2003. If you have information about this quest's status, let us know.
There are random Mobs in the zone that drop library cards. Give one to Posie the Librarian and she will give you a 4-slot container called the Book of Mischief. Also dropping randomly are four pages, top left and right and bottom left and right. Combine these four pages in the book and you will get a Words of Wealth, which unfortunately can't be equipped. Now talk to Bob the painter and give him your words of wealth and you will get an empty pot of gold (2 slot container). You will need to create an item using the deck of spontaneous generation. Only 2-throne combination items work (e.g., Green Wristguard, Vambraces of Distraction, Crown of Distraction), except for Mask of Melodies (1-throne), which also works. Combine it in the pot of gold with a Words of Wealth. This will give you a Funny Money. Give 2 funny moneys to Peachy D'Vicci and she gives you a colored Gift Box. The box has 5 charges. Occasionally you will receive a Frostmaidens Idol instead of a gift box. If you click on the box, you will summon a doll. The type of doll depends upon the color of the box. The doll has 5 charges of Hug, which is a regen spell. As far as I know, the color of the box you will get is completely random. Each doll is named after a specific class; thus there is one colored box per class. When this Doll is combined in the pot of gold with the main Armor of Distraction types obtained through the Deck of Spontaneous Generation quest, you get the class-specific doll quest armor. is this quest still possible to do, after the revamp in plane of mischief? i was wondering.... im thinking of doing it with my monk, but im not sure if it is still possible. i would really like to know, so if any one does, please update me on this
Gonna start trying to do this quest with my Necro pretty soon, mainly just to get my hands on some more 'gear-that-no-one-has'...any word on whether or not this is do-able before I start putting a lot of effort into it?

doesn't look good for this quest since sony nerfed all the npc's you need for this quest
i guess we know which classes the Dev's play...........programers pets. /glare
Have they added BL items to this quest? or are we screwed again....

okay, the last step is to combine the doll with the correct-slot of the armor of distraction, but WHAT DO WE COMBINE THESE TWO THINGS IN?

You make final combines in the Pot of Gold. To get that if I remember correctly, you give Bob the Painter 1 funny money.

No, the only classes that have class specific armor sets from PoM are monks, and pure wis/int casters. Perhaps VI's logic was that if you can't flop through ToV or bind yourself in PoM and gate back then you wouldn't spend enough time there to get all the quest items.

Ok i understand most of what is being said in the guideline thing....but, i just don't get the final part...how do i actually get the item you want...for example i want the shaman breast plate do i have to give Peachy the box and the breast plate of distraction or do i have to combine them in something else -"When this Doll is combined with the 5 main Armor of Distraction types (Gloves, Breastplate, Legs, Arms, Feet -- This is gotten through the Deck of Spontaneous Generation Quest) you get the Class-Specific Doll Quest Armor." does this mean i combine the doll withe the Distraction armor in the deck or what...gah...

Which items do you combine with the Wily Warlock Doll to get this the Wily Warlock robe?
I started this quest awhile back...my HD got fried...and now Ive TOTALLY forgotten where I was and what I need to do. I have the Wily Warlock doll and several cards...but clueless as to what to do next. Im thinking I need to combine some cards to make some item that I in turn combine to make the robe...but im CLUELESS.

I have been in PoM for weeks and certain cards drop in certain areas, Ex, squire cards can drop in forest or maze area. Well the area that drops the hardest cards to has been camped for at least a month by about 6 players. They have the spawns timed and log on kill the stuff then log off at a regular interval. Hell i even sat down in a room waiting for it to pop they came running in and took it while i sat there, didnt even ask(of course i couldnt solo it) but still that erked me. I hope that one day all of my hard work will pay off. But im starting to get very frustrated. One of the problems is that im bound there and none of the people i came with stayed. Every once in a while i get a group up there but they will never let me roll on drops. What i do try to do is trade up. For example 4 squires for a knight, most are not willing to do this. I have about 15 words of wealth. Also, the rate at which the throne drops is so slow, in the almost month i have been there i have only seen one throne looted. I wish verant would increase the level requirement for the zone or increase spawn/card drop rate.

This armor is not in. This is confirmed, and it is suggested that it will be added in a few patches. We don't really know if there will similiar boxes (there are more in spell dat then they've gotten) or something new.

far as i know theyre not no drop. at eq prices they had price on gloves (twisted nature-druid) and it stated no price known for other pieces. let me tell u these items are RAAAAAAARE. on veeshan for first time ever i saw the arms and chestpiece on a lvl 60 druid. they look kinda like raw pink meat, only theyre leather pieces, so looks funky. like raw meat leather, almost like it was skinned of an animal and hes wearing the fur on inside and inner skin facing out. veary cool when ya think aobut it.
For a short time, SOME items were droppable, but now ALL are no drop.

Ok there is 8 pieces of cleric armor how hard is it to get all of them.If the stuff you need off mobs are random then you have to try to kill everything in sight and if the armor you get when quest is completed is random then how do you ever finish this.Also yes I am female in RL but the way this was explained gets you very twisted around half way into the quest description.Will someone who has done this just break it down for us females to understand it :)

I need to stress the fact that you don't have to be uber or in an uber guild to raid any plane and this includes PoM. Under these posts you'll find a link to "stasis" a prexiun guild. They are not the most uber guild on the server in fact they arnt even in the top 3 but they still go and have fun doing it. I have been to PoM before and i wasnt in a guild, nor was i 60,59,58,etc. i was lvl 50. For the little ones out there have dreams cause one day you will be up there getting your uber gear and exploring what us foggies never stayed to see.
