Im not sure monks, or even anyone, will want to use this. Its a novel idea, but the ratio is pretty lousy. Fighting with this, especially for a monk, wouldnt be a reall slick idea. The low damage means you're doing mid 40s-50s damage max, so you better be praying for lots of Double Attacks, plus stun is one of those uber taunts that will really **** off the mob, another bad thing for monks. Even soloing, monks need more damage output than this. Its a novel weapon, but not really that great. We're looking into the fashion factor here.
6.7 stone is uncomfortably heavy for a monk, though not as bad as it could be, I suppose. Still, its got that cool "Tetsubo" look.
I think it would be better for a tank class, as another way to stun. Though at the level you could get it, there's quite a bit better (heck, I picked up a Drakkal Forged Sledgehammer with a much better ratio off of a Frost Giant Scout blue to a 40.) Decent to sell, I'd say, but probably nothing you'd use at that level.
Still, variety in a under-used category is nice to see.
Since my usual weapon is still my Adamantite Bo (wt 6.5 and I'm still a few stones under) at 44. This could be a fun stick to swing, fast enough to get some procs happening.
Ohh and FYI a stun proc will interupt castors, something all monks can use!
The Carpender Was Blue to Me at 51, He is a Rare spawn and has alot of hps around 10k...Dont Know How hard he hits cause i didnt let him get close, I easily took him down with a 50 Druid at my side, LOL no the Druid looks like a thug with his new staff =p

This item isn't MNK only folks. I'm sure other classes such as druids or shamen might not mind it (assuming that there are druids and shamen out there who still melee a little).
Yeah, its a cool effect, and as a weapon its marginal, but it looks like a big bat covered with spikes. REALLY makes you look like you're gonna thug someone. :)
I was in a group playing my de cleric when this club dropped, and since there were no tanks, I got to loot: I absolutely love it! It is a super fun weapon, with a nice look to match. The stun does get resisted sometimes, but it can last a few seconds, and its nice. But its a fun weapon foremost.
And to the guy who posted "!pu kcuf eht worG" to the guy who used the word 'thug'... The only person that needs to grow up is yourself.. You're probably just hateful because you are/were such a social outcast that you feel hate towards people with their little social groups and words: Geez, just let people have their fun and speak how they want: Lighten up! And show a little more love, it'll help your soul. Later.
people who post like you are hilarious... i encountered someone like you the other day. He said me to your a stupid #$%^ing piece of #$^$ you adolesant. Its funny that you say their kids when you're the one running your mouth and they're just making a comment
