This stuff is dropped of any named dragon in WW, its for chain users only, but looks like banded, each piece has a different name i think, such as matchless, peerless, heavy etc... We went to WW last friday and got mask, legs and boots and we killed about 8-10 dragons so its not all that rare.

The armour that drops off the named dragons in western wastes is available in different grades...worked, reinforced, matchless and peerless..I think that's all of them hehe. From what I can see, as the armour goes up in grade, the stats rise by 1..not sure how much hp and mana rise though.
For example:
Worked Dragonleg Breeches..21ac 8 dex 4 sta
then take add one ac, dex and sta and you have:
Reinforced Dragonleg Breeches..22ac 9 dex 5 sta.
The better the grade is, the rarer drop it is, Worked is the most common, and I *think* Peerless is the rarest of the bunch.
For example:
Worked Dragonleg Breeches..21ac 8 dex 4 sta
then take add one ac, dex and sta and you have:
Reinforced Dragonleg Breeches..22ac 9 dex 5 sta.
The better the grade is, the rarer drop it is, Worked is the most common, and I *think* Peerless is the rarest of the bunch.
Matchless is the best of the bunch, and rarest.

How did you figure that out since Shoulder Items don't show on the character model?
I AGREE, nice item from a nice zone, no uberness needed and nice stuff dropped. Well thought out loot, i like it =) just hope to get one soon.

This is the kind of stuff i love to see in EQ, VERY nice items in hard to get places, but not too hard that someone not in a uberguild cant get.
