I bought these for 3gp on my way to Qeynos from Erudin. :) I promptly gave them to a monk in Erud's crossing who was panicking and running from wisps. (After I killed the wisps on him.. poor kid.) He found out the HARD way you need magic items for your hands and feet. I directed him towards the warrens, where bigger promise of exp and possibly some better gear awaited. He thanked me much, and we both went on our way.
(And if you must know, yes, the boat stops at Erud's crossing coming FROM Qeynos.. I had gone AFK -_- had to ride the boat twice.)
Best 3gp I ever spent. I never saw a pair of these drop while hunting in Warrens.. but I know they do drop. Just not as often as the anklewraps on my server :)

LMAO! Ah yes...I remember the day when I saw my first WillowWisp in Commons and thought "Hmmm pretty blue light...I bet that will be easy to kill!" And after a CR to retrieve my battered, newbie warrior corpse and alot of cursing the "Blue Light", I was informed that only Magical weapons can kill those terrors! They should put a warning label on those things for the newbies!

they do put a warning on them, you know when you try to hit it and a bold white message pops up YOU CANNOT HIT THIS CREATURE WITH YOUR WEAPON or something along those lines, it at least tells you that you should RUN! Well just my 2cp.

Camped these guys last night for fun. About half had a pit fighter wrap (hand or foot), about 1/4 of those were hands.

We did only two or three rounds of pit fighters, and ended up with two pair.
If you don't get XP from the pit fighters, you'll NEVER get a pair.

I don't get xp from them and I've gotten 2 pair. They still agro me and I don't get the triv message when I kill them. This might be why.

Magical too..I haven't played my monk long enough to know if level 12 is low for getting magic gloves.. but it's a plus for this item!

I got magical gloves (netted) at 8 from green frogloks in Innothule, so 12 is not low. However, these are slightly nicer than netted.

the swamp does not have the new code that this dungeon does, where if you kill something too low you get a message saying the kill was trivial to you and you dont get magic,lore,no drop items to drop

My monk has a pair,they look like leather not cloth. Nice item for fighting wisps with.

Yup, thats the cloth glove icon. Cloth has no look. Too bad really, but these are nice gloves for Wisps in Eruds Crossing.
