OMG FINALLY got 1 after a year of trying to get this to grp woot lol!!! fer my 16 war
Just bought this on firiona vie for 10k for my lvl 10 war, just cant beat 100 hp heal at that lvl.
how can u buy it if its NO DROP?!?!?
Beacause, as the title and the post indicate, he's on Firiona Vie, the roleplay server, where these are not no-trade.

I have the Cobalt BP at the moment, is it worth the hard work camping arena with my guild to get the Champion's BP, same right-clicky heal and Cobalt stats aren't any worse.

Here's a suggestion. Click the link in the upper right-hand corner to read the quest info. Read the quest info and realize that the BP is no drop, that your 51 druid would get the crap kicked out of him trying to get it solo, get about 20 more levels, and work for it like the rest of us do instead of whining on message boards.
Well, actually, this BP can be MQed. Since guilds that come to Kael for the AoW cycle and vindi, often get corroded drops while clearing, its realistically possible for the guy to get this on his 34 warrior. In fact, I see more champions armor on twinks these days, than on mains.
Getting about 20 more levels would make him a level 71 druid. Which, so far, I have not seen a PC attain.

Is the corroded BP nodrop? I alos noticed on EQ caster that the clicky takes 60 mana.... does that mean you have to have armor with mana buffs on it to use it or what? I can afford the diamonds now, all I need to do is get them and have y druidget this BP, I don't ant to have to camp my warrior near Kael *shudders*

do some people just not read? you dont need any mana for any clicky items, and druids cannot wear thid GD BP!!

Can the armor be equipped by Vah Shir warriors? Almost all armor that can be equipped by warriors that aren't all/all do NOT have vah shir as eligible class. Has this been changed?
Yes it can be worn by Vah Shir. I have one now and it looks so sweet on me...hehe

After many days and nights spending in Kael, I've equiped myself with nearly a full suit of champion's gear minus the breastplate. I've done it all from the arena, plaza, plate rotation and KT area. If you want this you have to spend nearly every night in Kael. As of december 19, I am now a proud wearer of this breastplate. Belive it or not it dropped in the arena off a Veteran. And even more belivable in the same night, another warrior who had a group in the plaza got his corroded breastplate to. I got the corroded piece on the 18th. I was with some friends and they said I could loot it if it ever dropped. All I can say is that it is rare, and random. And oh yes, I guess it was a lucky night because we got yet another corroded breastplate to drop. Another warrior who was with us from PC took it with gratiude. So three lucky warriors got this beauty on the 18th, I wonder who else had got them also. Btw all races can use it including Iksars :)

When does this Proc go off is it lv 45 or can it be lv 1. It says lv 1 on the info to the trigger but I've never seen a person say that,...
That's no proc, you have to stand still and right click it, then wait 14.5 seconds and then you recover 100 HP. If you move during the 14.5 seconds the darn effect gets interrupted.

question... why does the list say war/all and the pic shows war/everyone but iksar.. ??? there has GOT to be some armor that GOOD for us lizards to wear.. wtf

You don't get to wear most plate because you already have naturally higher AC and resists, its just the price you pay friend.
Hmm, I though they changed it so that Iksars could use this armor now? I belive I saw a Iksar warrior wearing a full suite of Myrmidon armor, and that's plate. So I think Iksars can wear the velious quest armors even if its plate. Btw the corroded piece for this bp is rare. I spent a week in kael once (all nighters) and not one dropped. Though I decked myself out in allmost a full gear of the stuff. Just need this bp and the helm. Anyone know how much it would costs to MQ the bp and helm? Thanks.

Iksar's can wear the velious quest armors, theres an iksar warrior in my alliance who does have some Champion's armor.

2 less AC, but more HP, better saves and drops almost every time.. Champion's has the right click heal, but Vindi has Aura of Battle (More HP, AC, ATK and HP regen)
But in all seriousness, if you're 57, and can't figure out which is better on your own, you need to learn your class a bit better...

It's a never ending question for us warriors, wich is better? Cobalt, or champions armor? It really doesn't matter wich is better since they practically have about the same ac for each piece, maybe just one ac more or less. Not to mention champions armor adds more stats than just ac. Cobalt bp has two ac less than the champs bp. And adds 12 to str, sta and dex, and 50hp. So I'd take this bp over cobalt cause of the ac, and I think silver looks better on us Darkelfs :)Not to mention it has resists wich is also good. I'd take a full suite of champions armor over a full suite of cobalt just because it has extra stats other than just high ac, but that's just me. Btw, that female in the pic looks kinda cute, wish I knew her name and what server she goes on, hehehe. *wink*

Personally, i think Berserker's is easier to get. You can go up into PoG with one group and take down the wolves that drop most of the armor. Legs and BP are a bit harder though. But you don't have to pay for the gems and it has exact same stats as Thurg, except usually 2 stats are switched.

PoG's zonewide aggro mobs have been fixed, so Plane is no longer single group friendly.

I got mine on Firday, April 25th, 2002. Anyway, lemme tell ya. We camped nobles, there are 3 NPCs that drop plate, luckily we had a BST, WAR (has champion bp), CLR (has risen bp), WIZ, ENC. We took them down easily, bp dropped and I got loot. IT IS VERY NICE! I dropped 6k getting the gems tho, but so worth it. Good luck to u all

Just to clear this little thing up. I know for a fact that if your STA is over 105, it makes no difference whether your stamina bar is empty or full. I have been told that it is 100, but have not confirmed this since mine is well over that. The only thing that an empty stamina bar does is hinder your ability to jump if you have a STA > 105 (possibly 100). Thanks and have a great day.

The loss of all the yellow in your sta bar doesnt make you swing slower like it does if you have less than 100sta BUT not having any sta in your bar DOES make you hit for less and miss more often, because you are tired out from swinging your weapons, I know this for fact, test it out and see for your self, the effects might not be as visible on warriors but on my ranger i hit for less and miss alot more. so maxing sta is important for 2 reasons, 1) to keep doing as much damage as possible 2) adding sta increases hp indirectly, and everyone knows hp is a huge plus for any class.
If your STA is below 100, you do wear out and the effects will cause you to miss more. If your STA is 100 or above, you do not have any effect about missing the target. The only effect I have noticed when my STA is 0, is I critical hit less often and proc alot less. When I ask for a invigor (viagra), I instantly start procing and criting as I normally do.

umm....this is eff:invigorATE, not invigor, invigorate is a looooong cast 90pt heal, invigor replentishes your fatigue bar

I was wondering ther price on a MQ for the BP and other pieces...that is if i get the gems...how much do the different pieces of armor Mq sell for in general.

typically for someone to kill the mob that drops the no drop piece, and if you get gems....they charge around 2-3k for the MQ, but occasionally u will find some uber warrior, who happens to be very cheery to help you with it for practically nothing, or nothing at all.

What server are you on? 2-3k for a BP MQ?! On Xev BP MQ goes for about 30k without the gems. Gems cost about 3-5k each and you need 3. If the seller provides gems they charge about 50k. Other pieces are cheaper ranging from 2k for bracer to ~15k for legs.
2-3k... your fricken nuts... people ask that much for the arms... i asked about the ss quest bp and a lv 60 warrior wanted 90k for it... not including the gems... tho he offered those for more plat... somone doin it for free is highly unlikley... if somone does you are LUCKY!!!

To clear this up, i have this BP and the effect is a 90 HP heal nothing more nothing less.

There are several bps that have a clickable Invigorate. Cobalt heals 100hp I heard, the PoG bp 90. Also there's an axe that procs Invigorate which is a sta regen instead of heal. So the Invigorate you're describing is prolly not the one from this bp.

Ummm, one case where whatever you use to get that is wrong. It's 90 hp healed flat every time period, no exception, doesn't increase as you level or anything.
