It is Dropped by the Large Cubes(not sure on exact name, cant miss them though) , Way past the Courtyard, at 52 my Wizard can barely dent one and they take 2 groups 50+ to bring down.
If you're already near the WIS/INT cap, then using a lower-stat item with added direct-mana is pretty useful, especially when there's an enchanter around to buff those stats up over the cap.
While this item is okay, it will not replace the paw, tome, or books in use. This would have been a much better item if it had been a range item. Of course someone could use it for crafting.
Oh, yes, this item just sucks, doesn't it? I would certainly hate for my enchanter to have some extra mana. I would not mind having one. And it's a creature drop, not a long and boring camping quest like the paw. hrmp
I think what the original posters feeling what that this is item is basically junk for those players who are hunting on skyshrine... isn't that at least a mid level 40 dungeon.
exactly. and i've hunted the guards/sentries for almost 2 lvls now and have almost complete sets of both sentry and guardian armor and seen two robes drop...never seen one of these yet...
