Sorry but once The Sleeper is released, he leaves the Tomb, rampages in Skyshrine then poofs forever. The 4 Warders also poof forever. The Tomb now only spawns golems and gargoyles that drop occassional Primal and Priceless weapons.

Actually there is a quest involving turning in the ST key that seems to hint that the sleeper might be brought back.
I am not saying it is that way, but it could be.

After the Sleeper is woke on your server...no one will get one. This will not drop after that...so get it while you can if the sleeper is still sleaping on your server.

Once the Sleeper is up, the Warders' no longer spawn - which I would guess is what drops this. You are right, primal weapons will still come into the world, but at a very reduced rate. On the bright side, at least the mobs don't see invis after the Sleeper is up =)
yes the ancient sentries do see invis even with the sleeper gone, they are keeping the prison ready it says when you enter the tomb now. the very last sentance is "for where wurmkind prevailed once, it shall prevail again" meaning there is a chance to get the sleeper back, rumor had it there was to be a quest out of vex thal, but since the mobs in vex thal are kos to everyone then it prolly doest exist in there, maybe PoP expansion will take the quest live, i dunno im just surmising here.

Arguments on who's better or who should drop dead is just absurd, we all got into this game without knowing which is the most "kick ***". We follow our style to pick a class, so there's just no reason to attack other classes. Let's not forget if one class doesn't perform well in the end game it's Verant that didn't balance the classes well. Let's stop flaming on each other's abilities nor declaring you own all other classes.
Monks in my opinion is great. Although I am a paladin am gifted w/ little down time and better tanking ability, but I admire the FD ability and recognize such ability is equally as useful as warrior's slash and hack. I respect all classes coz a Norrath filled w/ only warrior/enchanter/clerics would be just boring.

Posted: Jul 12 2001 at 10:33 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) yes, monks do need ac, but they typically don't get it from items that give high ac themselves. this is why armor along the lines of Wu's fighting armor exists and is monk only, monks tend to get a large amount of their ac from agility, rather than ac from the item itself. so just stop screaming about how every item that weighs under 1 pound is "made for monks" i'm tired of hearing it.

However, sir, you know jack all about the game. Show me one monk above level... um 15, wearing a serpentine bracer, and I'll say, oh yeah, AGI, DUDE, WOW! I think not... the AGI required to make up a single AC runs in the range of two to three... to make up this bracer, I'd need nearly 50 AGI... not that I, a monk, need resists or nothin.
Oh, by the way, how many monks do you know that raid Sleepers in Wu's Fighting? I'd just as soon pull up some lacy panties for AC and set to work.

Uhmm that's pretty true, except for the fact that AC on items and bonuses from agi stack. And MOST of any monks AC does come from the AC on gear not agility (even with 200 or higher agi.) It's true that this is a good warrior item, but all the tanks i know in the lvl range of aquiring this item (and i am from Tallon so no UBER tanks here) already have 200 or higher str when in almost ANY type of group. The only reason i can see a warrior high enough to get this item wanting it is that they have pathetically low resists, or are one of the races that goes for high dex/proc'n weapons as king and needs a boost to their str.
Have you ever even seen the Wu's stats...they are great for pre-thrity-five or so (now that all the expansion gear is out), but saying that the fact that Wu's is monk only and all the pieces have a little agi on em and ***** for AC means that all monks should go for agi way before they go for AC and HP is completely moronic.
Next time you want a monk to even think about using his/her tstaff/fighter's staff/CF's think about the fact that most of the time we do enough dmg to take agro for a fair amount of time and 1 failed FD will result in death... Sure, we could not do dmg, but if you want an effective group with a monk in it the monk had better have good AC/hp.
And yes, this item IS made for monks. If it want't no drop i would say that it wasn't, but any warrior that is with people who can get this item could take the same people and get and item that is WAY better for em with the same people. Why take loot that some poor monk would use forever probly, when you can get something better in a matter of hours and will just end up destroying the item eventually anyway?

I'll keep my warlord bracer and let my monk friends roll on this.. Why? well all the classes listed have atleast almost the same stat'd bracers except for monk. Plus if you haven't noticed monks have a very limited assortment of equipment to choose from, and from what I've noticed the "top of the line" monk equipment is all/all (warrior, rogue, ranger, paladin, sk all have "top of the line" equipment that is class specific).

I play a monk because I didn't want to play a druid because lets face it, almost everyone is a druid. I didn't want to play a necro cause it's not my style of play. Mind you I have nothing against druids or necros, they are honorable classes to persue. Their just not my gaming style. I need to be where the action is. I want to feel the splatter of blood on my opponent when i hit him with my fist, staff, or greatstaff.

ok this is probly the best melee class wrist in the game by a long way this should have no real specified only for monk or whatever there is nothing better for any of the classes
though an iksar monk would like it very much since they get an even more limited choice on wrist eq but i would not begrudge it to any melee class its stats are sick hehe

This moron is not a good representation of the warrior class, or of a human being for that matter... However, I do take exemption to your post. After playing EQ for over a year and a half, the only character I've taken above 20th lvl is a warrior. Not because it requires no thought but because I enjoy being in the thick of it. Being a *good* warrior does take a lot of concentration and awareness. When you drop a 600 pt nuke on a MOB, I need to be ready to whack and taunt him off of you. I have to watch every caster in the group to make sure there isn't a baddie using them for a punching bag. Casters are just as dependant on tanks (not just warriors, but all tanks) to keep them alive as we are dependent on you casters to keep us healed and the crowd control and the like.
For the record:
a) I do not beg for SoW.
b) I do not beg for Ports.
c) I do not beg for Invis.
d) I do not beg for Rezs.
e) And I only attack a blue if I'm near a zone ;P
If some one offers any of the above to me, I will not turn them down and always (at least try to) donate.
