THE resource on tradeskills is eqtraders, and they do have the recipies for these.
Taken from eqtraders:
---
haze panther skin, yew leaf tannin, pattern, one to four velium bonings (still trying to verify which patterns require how much boning, but we're guessing it will work the same as normal reinforced leather)
Side note on the haze panthers...they can and DO walk around invis. The pelt/hide is a rare drop, and they are fairly rare spawns, at least from what I've seen.
I for one am glad that the Tailors actuly have some nice items to look forward too. Considering that smithing is expensive, but can be achived with pure money power. Tailors have no place to purchase the hides, unless they wish to run around for days bidding for them in auction. Well done Verant. Also i think we will see more armor for smithinng as the land gets explored more
It's rumored to be 200+... and maybe even higher, with no trivial message at all.
Of course, I may as well throw away my smithing hammer now except to make the Velium Studs and Boning for tailors... It's utterly impossible to make smithed stuff that compares with the new tailoring stuff.
Unless, of course, they actually plan on giving us cool Velium Chainmail and Velium Plate. (Plus enchanted versions of the same maybe?)
Actually ALL velious leathers NEVER trivial, so basically anyone wanting to make them successfully better have 220+ skill without having a giant money sink. Personally imo any tailor with a skill this high will instantly put this gear on a twink, considering the cost and difficulty of acquiring the materials. 200+ skill in tailoring can be profitable, if you ever end up making up the lost money making it up to that skill.
So far no SK, Warrior, Pal, Bard or Cleric armor of this high quality has emerged. It leads me to believe that these will be blacksmith created with similar difficulty to find components and similar skill levels required.
I have mastered all of the trade skills, and as much of a pain smithing was to get to 150+, tailoring was even worse to get to 80+. I think even with people tailoring their hearts out, it will still be a pretty rare thing. Smithed armor will still have a market because of that, I believe.
