Posted: Jan 31 2001 at 9:59 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ok thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard -- everything in veeshan is no drop meaning you have to go to get it -- and even if it wasnt --- who in thier right mind would -- this stuff makes epic look like kiddie play -- these drops are a status symbol to others -- it says I SURVIVED VEESHAN -- btw this drops off the single hardest char in the game

The Sleeper saw him once when we walked in i was ordered to evac when we saw his guadians come barreling towards us quad for 800 and theres 4 our lv60 Phantasmist couldnt get a mes off, so god knows what the Sleeper ( lv75ish ) can dish out and hes a caster casted an AoE wiped a group before evacs were done and one guy got left behind a monk. we were porting necros and buying coffins all night.

Ok listen newbie...Phara has obviously been killed before...the sleeper has not EVER no will EVER be killed...i mean jesus christ he quads for 1300!!

It may not have str but with resistances up the wang, great hps and an incredible weight this would be a great replacement to the ROTWF once we have our Celestial Fists. Better than that Silver Moon stuff from PoG

What? 20 int, 100 mana, and some hp? why oh why wouldn't you let this go to a caster? Surely monks have a more appropriate robe available to them...

I think that the only reason most of the other classes would want to wear this is because of the resists. The AC is WAY too low for the tanks compaired to their plane, and ever crafted, brestplates.

i dont think shaman willbe wearing this one. Look at the race list. Iksar shaman might wear it but i doubt it.

Well, if you've ever seen an enchanter with an illusion of a race that can't wear a cloak, like a Barb or Wood Elf, I think that's what it'd look like. But on a human warrior, I think it'd look pretty funny. That is, of course, if it really is all classes.

I've seen a post on everlore where this gnome necro did this one GM quest ending with a robe better than this or at least just as good. It was gnome necro only...he had a pic so i believe it...but i must say this is the best robe that any one can get(if they are in a super guild). It is very nice. Well that's just my 2cp.

LOL, Best robe eh? If it was Race/Class Specific it was nowhere near as good as this robe... i mean this is a robe that anyone can wear ANYONE!

i would like to know if anyone knows the lvl on the mob that drops this and if a couple of lvl 25 necros can kill it with little resistance?

Dude 2 25 necros would be a light snack to this mob. You need a full group of at least level 60s to take this badboy out. check the link and look at his picture.

A group of level 60s taking down an AE mez/charming level 65-67 enchanter dragon with pets? Good luck... just getting the key to this zone would take a tough team, killing this guy would take a team of at least 6-7 full groups. Look at his hit points, for instance - he has 32000hp. This is one heavy-duty mob.

Wouldnt that be the mob you would like to see roaming the Field of Bone, or myabe even Greater Faydark, or the Oasis, ohhhhhhh. Think of the possibilities hehehehe :P Good luck to those who try, may Cazic Thule lead you to victory.

It was necro only, all classes, ac 20. mana 100, int 20. Some other stats. It's an artifact, and this robe does not stand back from it at all, being possible to have multiple on one server (unlike artifacts).

since i dont know the other stats, i'd rather have this one over the one you're talking about, i'd rather sacrifice the 2 ac for a few more hps and a decent amount of resists, this opinion is based on not knowing the other robe's stats though...

I'd be willing to venture that the All Classes part is a mistake that Verant will fix as soon as it finds it. If you'll notice, the races that can wear it are limited to only races that can be Pure Casters. I'd guess there is a reason for that.

Actually the ones that can wear it all have robe graphics, thus it is entirely possible that is it ment to be this way.

and its not like all the 40+ people that are on the raid are going to yet stupid classes wear it where it wont benefit them as much..

I think that it most likely is only caster's. Wait a patch or two, and see what classes are listed then. I don't think they would have a badass robe like this, with the int and mana bonus for warriors or monks.
Things with uber stats, and just plain kickass eq like this I dont' think will be wasted on paladins running around.. they will have their own uber gear. Either this is some sort of typo, or some such, or it will be fixed, I'm sure.
