Maybe they are just picks, excellent tools yet shabby weapons? It's a long shot but possible... Not everything in the game has to be useful or uber... Just my 2 copper pieces.

The best response to my /shout on what to do with these was to turn them into the Pally guild in FP for the FBSS LOL!

I've asked everyone in game, and searched all over the web, but can find no one who can give more specifics on this quest...

Is this, like crushbone belts, part of a quest? If so, to whom do you give them?

From EQMaps.com, the picks are used in a Thurgadin quest for a 12/29 pick, primary and secondary 1hs.

No, Shardwurm claws are used for that quest, not the Ry'Gorr picks...
