On modern TLPs, this drops from Borxx during the pre-revamp version of Runnyeye. This is generally the first few months of the server (unsure of exact timing).

Favlin, have killed the prisoners now for weeks on end and no lens ever not sure this quest is still working

Ok I see its been a long Time since anyone has talked about this Quest. So just in case there are any low levels out there that want this Idem here is what I know.
At a lower lever I camped the Evileyes for months, I killed at least 300 Evileyes and no lens ever dropped. One day I gave up, but was always pissed off that I spent that much time on a quest and never was able to finish it.
So at level 70 I went back and killed every thing in the zone for 3 weeks, and no named Broxx ever spawned and no lens ever dropped.
I think it sucks that a quest is nerfed and SOE does not have a way to let people know.
well hope this saved some of you from a waist of time.

If you look at the lore of the item you'll seee that it is Borxx's lens ...it does not drop off a named as for it being broken that very well migh be true

I just camped the eyes in both the Gorge of King Zorbb, and runyyeye, for several hours. Nothing. I have to wonder if this quest is still up. And you who say they drop off the prisoners, is that a first hand account, or something you heard??
I sat here tonite camping them, and for one these prisoners are not easy! Anyone who goes after them make sure your magic resistance is sky high! But never could find out the correct spawn time cuz it took forever, so went out to kill everything else, and tried to kill the King, hehe, but he never popped, none of the named spawns did:( Needless to say nada for the drop off the 4 that I did. I killed a bunch of evil eyes in the gorge, but never ever saw this on them. Figure it has to drop of these guys. Now the evil eyes in the gorge are set on 15 min timers. I will be back out there again tomorrow trying to catch the spawn again, and this time, will sit there and wait for the spawn to pop, and maybe others will have a good idea of spawn time.
I have killed 10 so far with no lens dropping. Is it truly the Evil Eye Prisoners that drop the lens?

Someone please tell me how to trigger this spawn I spent some 20+ odd hours in Runnyeye this weekend and still no spawn. Tryed killing all the named monsters twice...tryed killing everything that spawned on the red carpet in the King room as well as everything in all the adjacent rooms. Does anyone know how to trigger this spawn is it random or does something have to be killed or do I have to talk to an NPC for him to spawn any help would be greatly appreciated.

okay doesnt pertain to this item i know but to this area, guildmate and i went in to get the Optic nerve bundles for crafted quests and suprise suprise no bundles dropped but we got evil eye fluid, anyone know what it is for???

I heard they nurfed him with the patch when the fation of the eyes and the gobs were seprated. I think the pisiners drop all the named ones stuff now, not sure though.

I can't find this Evil Eye named Borxx. And i have camped RunnyEye long time, and Beholder maze too ...
When we look into Bestiary section of this web site, we can't find anything about "Borxx".
Is it a broken quest ?

Borxx isn't in the game anymore. He was taken out when Runneye was changed some time age. Apparently the EvilEye Prisoners now drop Borxx's loot. Hope this helps
