I know there is a quest in SS where you turn in your crown and get back a Custom one which will show up on your head. Can you do that with this quest? Thanks all who respond
Casters will have to get the dain crown and customize it.

I was grouped in dalnir's about a month ago and a Kly Invoker dropped a Flawless Topaz. I had no idea what it was for and asked everyone in every zone i came to but no one could tell me so i figured it was for a lightie racial armor so i sold it to a vendor in OT (since i am a Darkie on VZ hehe) had i knew what it was for i would have saved it and i know it doesnt go with this quest but i could have sold it. BUT i dont get it why would something that weak drop something for a quest that is about 45 to 50+ is Verant just getting lazy?
do you know for a fact that gem is used in the velious quest armors? because i seriously doubt it.

Please tell us where the turbine dropped and the zone. Also what drop's the gem's and zone please.

Lowest thing that drops gems that i have found are the geonids like he stated, they drop em kinda frequently. Don;t know aobut the faire dragons, but we had a gem drop off a orc in Crystal Caverns, only one ever dropped though /sigh probably just given to a orc, but who would give a gem to a orc when ya could sell for 1k =(
And as far as i know the only place the armor pieces drop is in Kael in the arena in there. Need a couple groups of 55+ to take the arena with a steady pull

The various pieces of torn enchanted silk drop from the giants near the arena in Kael. The gems drop from a wide variety of mobs in several zones. Pretty much any 50+ velious mob can drop the gems.

I've found gems from Sentient Armors (low - mid 40's), Fairy Dragons (high 30's), and Geonids (mid - high 40's) in Wakening Lands.
I've also seen 1 piece of the enchanted silk dropped by the Wurms deep in Skyshrine.

The wurms in Skyshrine will not drop the pieces necessary for any of these class based Velious armors. The quests that start in Thurgardin have pieces that drop mostly in the Arena area of Kael Drakkel (although some may drop in other area of Kael as well).

Yup i had a torn enchanted silk robe drop off Lieutenant Fangcaller at the bank area.
