We fought hard to
get here and though I could
see the pain in their eyes, I
demanded that the others leave
me to my fate and continue on.

My friends, should you find this, I thank you for all of your strength and bravery.

regret that I will not see the
face of my dear Jen again, but
I feel that somehow these
words will reach her.

comfort in the fact that your
smile was in my thoughts as I
fell into my eternal slumber,
destined to dream of you forever.
