...that's what I do.
People seem to be scratching their heads about how useful this is. They're thinking hm, it speeds up buff casting...so what?
Well, Rune is a buff.
At 61, chanters get a 1500-pt self-only rune that doesn't seem to generate aggro like you get from other runes.
So I sometimes find myself standing my ground after tashing a little early, recasting Arcane Rune while the mob is beating down the old one in 500-point chunks. 30% faster cast would be welcome then.
Of course most anyone 60+ will have MUCH better gear in both slots, even those of us way far from uber. In my case the primary is about the only indispensable item I have (Sharp Ended Broken Lever...lowers tash aggro!), and the jeweller's trophy in range slot would really hurt to swap out too.
Still I might look into getting one of these, for situational use.

No damage. still, it looks pretty cool.
It's a focus item basically. Just happens to look like a hammer.
Very nice focus though. Do healing spells count as "beneficial" as per the Enhancement Haste spell description? Or does this mean just Buffs?

Healing is instant, but this focus only affects spells that has a duration of 72 secs minimum - maybe it will work with some regen spells...
Well 12 agi = some AC and it has 10 to SP. It's a hand held item that don't look like a voodoo doll(which is good).

its also a good range slot item if im reading it correctly.
They have specific items with healing focuses

I just have to ask, this thing goes in your primary melee slot, but I dont see damage or delay listed? Is this a hammer that you can't attack with?

correct they could have unlisted melleetypes cause they will barely use it. For nonmelee it has a nice sv vs poison and offcourse the focuseffect. Also the +12 agi can be usefull when being harassed while casting. More chance for evading melee and shorter time for casting required. But i don't expect to see a lot of casters wearing it especially cause it's gonna be bloody expensive. (See what items are all needed and how long the production takes) And it does not have other beneficial stats like wis and int. So only ppl who can afford to loose those stats due to having maxed out stats, would probably want to wear it. Maybe some ppl who can switch fast items (thinking of bards who know how to twist songs and instruments on other toons) might want to have it on them and switch to it temporarily when needed.
