Nope: Got SoW? Drop the drog, get to where you want quick, then drog back up. Or just say thanks for the SoW & stick with the slow drog.

If you get tired of your drogmar turn in the drum to Vailin in Gulf of Gunthak for a bag of platinum pieces you can sell to a merchant for about 2/3 of the original cost of the drogmar.

This lists most items/abilities/spells/songs that offer changes in run speed. This information is accurate to the best of my knowledge and searches. I see the question posed often and thought I would make a comprehensive list. I didn't include items that have spell effects you can cast (ie shammie boots that cast sow). I bear no responsibility for any changes or nerfs after this post.

This is from a post on one of the other drums, not sure how accurate it is: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=19374&mid=10482591553455

Also, someone else was posting about hailing the NPCs that you buy the Drogmoors from, and noticed a good quote.

davidhutchinson wrote:

But to my mind the crucial phrase is 'They can match a horse, hoof step for hoof step'.

So in the spirit of nicking info from somewhere else (care of Zestee):

here are the speeds of the Horses and therefore Drogmor...

9K Rope Bridle = 25% Movement Rate Increase
30K Leather Bridle = 50% Movement Rate Increase
60K Silken Bridle = 60% Movement Rate Increase
100K Chain Bridle = 70% Movement Rate Increase

So, from reading his quote:

SMALL Drums = 25% Movement Rate Increase
Drums (No size name) = 50% Movement Rate Increase
LARGE Drums = 60% Movement Rate Increase
GIANT Drums = 70% Movement Rate Increase

Hope this helps, took me a bit to find all of the info (wish Allak would post the speeds on the effect link or something ... or if not Allak, at least Lucy Smiley: bah)
