Just bought one for my Dwarven Paladin. It has the look of a very plain and (seems to me) rather small spear. It would be nice to have a better graphic, but with the stats I am happy to have it the way it is.

Ever hear of a Crow Footed Lance? 2hp isn't a skill like 2hs; it uses piercing skill, which rangers definitely get.

bar of shimmering steel and Shimmering Nihilite are refined versions of the tradeskill drops from Kod'Taz+ (bar of aligned steel and pale nihilite are the pre-KT GoD tradeskill drop versions that make inferior items) If yer not able to kill mobs in natimbi+ you can try finding aligned/pale in bazaar and if yer not Kod'Taz flagged (a 'good' level 65 player willing to go through the work of getting flagged) then ya can try finding the shimmering ore/nihilite in bazaar. (It's all tradeable)
