for some reason when doing a lesser faydark item search, only the arrow comes up. the bow is not filtered. fyi.
Ran into her today and killed her easily with 28 ranger. Was rewarded with bow. Funny thing is, I just got done making a carved ashwood bow and after switching to the larktwitter bow, I found I was a lot more accurate than with the ashwood bow (which is 15/54). Not really sure why. Could it be that magic improves accuracy? Shot dmg3 rng50 arrows out of both. Will do more research...

now i dont know about this for sure but i have heard that a magic bow doesn't affect what you can hit.... but how far you can shoot.
say you have a bow that is a 25/45/100 non-magic and you are using an arrow with 50 rng. the the max you can shoot for is 50.
BUT if you have a magic bow the range is (bow rng. + arrow rng.) ao a 100 range bow with a 50 range arrow will have a range of 150.
or so ive heard... i use a magic bow and can see an improvement between my magic bow and my non magic bow.

Range is always added for range of bow + range of arrow.. whether the bow is magic or not.
Only Difference between a magic bow and a non-magic bow is.. you can hunt willowisps (and other magical creatures) with the magic bow.

Sorry my friend you're mistaken, you can hunt willowisps with a magic arrow, but whether or not the bow is magic doesn't matter.

Actually magic items are required to do damage on some magical mobs (ie. undead.) If you have a pair of leather boots (non magic) then you can't kick a mob and do damage ... you will still kick it but it will tell you that it was undamaged. A bow would be the same ... but needs non magic arrows too ... so with a non magic bow and magic arrows you can still harm mobs but if both are non magic it won't do any damage.

She attacked me at lvl 47.. while I was killing some brownies. And she dropped the bow which looked quite nice.. Obviously not friendly to anyone !!!

I just killed this little lady tonight. Didn't get the bow, but I did get a Larktwitter Arrow. A 6 damage and 150 range MAGIC arrow!!! I know only 1 isn't going to be much good, but if you decided to camp her and get a stack or 2... oooh baby!!
Its called root agro, go stand next to the next one I root and check.

Pardon the possibly Stupid question. I started late in life with fletching (17th level Warrior) but I was able to take my first rough hickory bow and take it from a 50 delay to a 42 by restringing it with silk from the original hemp. I would rather have all the childish nimrods flame me here rather than be REALLY stupid and lose the bow.

So using this bow with regular (non-magical) arrows will allow you to hit magic creatures like ghouls or wisps? Anyone know?
My shadow knight uses this bow. I can't hit wisp for crap. I get the invunuable message. And forgive my bad spelling.

because you need magic ARROWS not a Magic bow to hit invulnerable critters.

So then if I may ask, what is the point of a magic bow? If you can't hit magic creatures that is.

I ran up against her when I was a lvl 15 ranger, and it was a close call but i killed her and got the bow. Then i waited for her to pop again and that time i died fast =). Came back as a lvl 20 ranger and she is pretty easy, i would have to say a lvl 16 and up shouldn't have to much difficulty with her, depending on how she cons to you. Though it is a nice bow, even had someone offer to buy it off of me for 1000pp, I have found only a few people on my server that know of it and know what drops it so the price varries on each server.
i've never seen one of these on Tallon Zek but i'm going looking for it tonight. it should sell around 150pp since its an alternitive for non-rangers to get a decent bow without paying a fletcher to make them one.

She attacked me in Lfay when I was 17th. She conned blue to me then. I think she may be a bit of an undercon because it was a close fight...too close. Anyway eventually I beat her down and was rewarded with the rare drop LarkTwitter Bow. Not a bad bow if I do say so myself :)
I honestly dont think she'd be any trouble at all for a lvl 20 and higher...easy pickings.

meaning you have to be high enough level to kill her to get it, plain and simple (theres still debate on her level, btw)
