If this thing were made targetable I would get it just to use on pet. Haste mask effect, Burnout and this as a added bonus would be interesting.
Oh well
P.S. Does this have to be worn to use the clickie ? it doesn't say (equiped or worn) in item description box. Some items like Jboots and Clay Braceletts can be activated from inventory.
this stack with the high lvl chanter haste and the 63 celeirty stacks with the chanter haste i have 2 haste buffs on me plus bard song haste, when mins fade i use the right click speed till i recast mines
No, it doesn't. Enchanter multi-aspect haste spells, like the Vallon's spells, have other effects like Atk, Agi and Dex buff. Because of that, they don't overwrite other haste so you can have the stat effects of vallon's, but the extra 6% haste of Wonderous Rapidity. They both stay in your buff box but only the faster haste is counted and the buff slot is wasted.
This is, however, a nice piece for soloing if you aren't a hasting class and don't want to do Stormfeather camp.
THIS THING RULES seriously ***** the haste go to a dungeon get a +5 STA aug this can go in slot one as it fits all types then buy the +6 STA aug from ADV merchant in BB this can go in second slot thats +11 STA to this thing making it a 22 STA piece and that is well worth it in my opinion think augs guys haste is just a nice bonus

I purchased this item as my tank was stamina-challenged. To make use of the haste, I try to cast it right when the puller in the group calls incomming so I'd engage the mob right when the spell goes off.
I think though that even this is pretty crappy. The resulting haste is too brief and insignificant to be of any true use. Also, it does not stack with shaman (and probably enchanter) haste buffs. As such, making the haste on this item really inconsequential.
From first glance, no it wouldn't. Looks like it is the generic spell/song haste, not overhaste. Nice for those that want to solo and don't have the RotWF/Mystic Eyepath/monk epic, etc.
Not quite sure how you can say not worth it without knowing more. If this does indeed stack, which I agree is doubtable, it's quite worth it. 4 sec cast for 18 secs of 10% stackable haste would be good. Especially for those that swing slow 2h weapons. The +11 sta is nothing to shirk, either.
With a 10% haste increase and a 4 sec casting, you`d need around 40 sec duration more or less for it to be worth casting. Math in this is prolly not 100% accurate but 3 ticks is not enough. Simply just not worth it. Must be a flaw her somewhere, no point in casting something that will decrease your dps.
Unless it counts as a song (which you can cast while running/fighting). If that's the case, just link it to you're kick/flying kick/bash, whatever skill so that you start the casting every several seconds while you're fighting. Would be quite sad if you had to stop fighting to cast that long though, I agree.
I bought this just to check it out. The haste is spell haste. The duration is way too low and/or the cast time way too high to be very useful. The only use I have found is when you are in a group without spell haste, you can time the cast for when you are about to engage a mob. Examples would be waiting for a warrior to taunt a mob, or waiting for a puller to arrive with his or her pull. If I had known the details about this before buying the item, I would not have purchased it, but the extra STA is nice for those who are STA challenged, so I'll keep it for now and use the haste when I can.
