Little hint, enraged maternal cragbeast in Tipt drops 30 hp/end and 30 hp/mana all slot augs... those 2 + 40 hp ldon type 2 augment will fit on any of the ldon purchased loot. Making this particular piece 185 Hps and the BP 200 hps~ Not saying thats the best possible use for the augs but for some more casual players thats a damn good way to go.

Type 3 focus effect, type 1 40 Mana aug, and type 2 go with Magentic Vitality or some crfap that gives 7 wis and 7 dex.

There are no type 1 40 mana augs. There is a type 2 40 mana aug, and a type 7 40 mana aug. Neither of those will fit in a type 1 slot.

The only augs that fit in a type one slot, are the ones labelled all.

Personally, I'd go with the 10wis 10 sta aug (crystal prism of perception, rujark) for type 2, FT2 for type 3 (Eternal ice prism of sense, miraguls), and for type 1 the wis 8 char 8 aug (tainted shard of ingenuity, rujark).

Honestly, most of the focus effects are not worth having, since they are the level 3 focus, which only work on spells up to level 60. The only real exceptions are spell haste, and extended range (that are useful for a cleric at least). If you need one of these badly, certainly use if before the FT2.

Just got these legs other day.
Add:
40 hp augment(any slot)
6 str, 6sta augment (slot 2)
+8% mod to dodge augment (slot3)

makes pretty damn near best tank legs this side of the elemental planes.

Just For your information... HP/MP/EP add augs are all type 2 or type 7 (type 7 is why you probobly think they are all types.) For the exception of some special augs somewhere, for HP its Type 2 or 7.

You could put +8 Agi/Sta (fits all slots) from EF in slot 1, then put the HP in slot 2 and the dodge in slot 3.

Shield of Pain effect is TRASH!

Getting 5% and 8% dodge aug is a big boost to damage mitigation via Dodges! These two augs are quite possibly the best type 3s for all Melee classes.

I dont agree. Better to not get hit at all than to try and swap damage with those higher up mobs. Adding 2 damage to a damage shield isnt going to help for crap against a slowed creature quading you for 350+ with well over 30,000+ hps in his back pocket to spare (and these arent tough compared to most places where a warrior is required over a hybrid). If it was me I would rather take the dodge than the DS upgrade.

I suppose in your everyday group it wouldnt be too bad I guess. But even then at high levels usually slowing the mob is involved, making the DS upgrade not nearly as useful as some might be led to believe. So many hps are on these creatures that during the long haul the higher dodge rating will just save the cleric a ton of mana, meaning less downtime for more stuff to kill. If someone was to try and DS their way through a non slowed critter at these higher levels then they are dogmeat fast. That little bit of added damage from the DS upgrade is laughable, especially for the levels its intended for. Bring it up to 10 hps of damage added to a DS then it would be more of an option.
