We are in PoH now, and pulled Hand of the Maestro, upon it's death "A Very Unpleasent Hand" spawned. Looted Hand of the Maestro from it.

A magician in my guild is wielding this in his PRIMARY melee slot. On the item stats, it says PRIMARY or SECONDARY.
I hope all the warriors in that guild of yours has thier epics, :P

Considering it is off-hand slot only, I'd say most casters of planes level wouldn't really need it. I have the Drachnid thxyl in the off-hand, +5 Int, +40 mana, +10 Sv. magic, 5ac. Better stats and heck of a lot easier to get than this item.
Plus now it has extended range 3. It drops off of a lvl 50 drachnid in dl. The drachnid was brought down with a grp of 5 average lvl 39

This is needed for the war epic im pritty sure. i know the planes is need over greed and war cant use this other than the quest so when looting do war get a chance for this + enc/mag or does only war get this
Maestro doesn't drop this, does he? I'm pretty sure this is actually dropped off of "A Very Unpleasant hand" which sometimes spawns after the "Hand of Maestro" is killed, and the Hand of Maestro spawns after guess who is killed...K, that was a bit circular, so this is the order:
Maestro of Rancor - Tough ****
Hand of Maestro - Green at 50, cakewalk
A Very Unpleasant Hand - Just liek the name, very unpleasant. I'm pretty sure this thing is just like fighting Maestro himself, it had the same Front only AoE attack and everything...Doesn't spawn always though, is rare from what I was told.

the hand now drops off of the hand of maestro scince the revamp. I don't think a very unpleasant hand spawns any longer, and the maestro of rancor (mistmoore) is almost as hard as innoruk himself. The hand is now lvl 58. Great... Make the warrior epic harder and the result the same. Well whatever... its fun to roleplay.

If I was on a raid where Enc/Mag were allowed to roll on this I would promptly ask to be TLed and would never raid with that loot captain again. I do play a Warrior, though, so admitedly I am a bit partisan, but imagine palying a bard on a Vox raid and watching a Druid roll against you and win the White Scale that you needed for your epic, because they wanted to do a quest for a cloak of some kind...Would be rather upsetting to say the least.

First of all, this item is NOT for the secondary slot only. Hand of the Maestro can go in PRIMARY or SECONDARY.
Secondly, all of our warriors have this hand already, so why the heck not give it to a mage? One of our mages has one, and I think it is hillarious. :)

first off what mage/enchanter would need this at planes lvl anyway? if mages or chanters get prime over warriors on this im deleting my warrior tomarrow

Wrong. He who makes the raid makes the rules. Personally I agree it should go to Warriors first, but if it isn't your raid, you have no right to tell anyone how they should be running it. Simple. Don't tell me how to run my character or raid or game that I am paying for, and I won't tell you how to run yours.
