Me and a couple of people cleared the whole place twice last night with no organs dropping :(
Is this a Ultra rare drop or something? Managed to get 2 Saliva / Blood / Bile / Flesh before I started destorying any others I found - the flesh drops off almost everything but I have yet to see 1 stinkin organ!
Just to share how I got mine solo as a level 49 necro (and how I would do it again given the opportunity):
Invis up and head into the first cavern on the right in the luggald caves. Go all the way to the back left corner, and get as far from the static mobs as you can. There are a couple of roamers that come near here but aggro radius seems pretty small here and even if invis drops the roamers never aggroed on me. This should be a safe haven for you.
First order of business is to kill the two roamers. My method relied heavily on root-rotting (there is no room to kite in here without getting adds) and when root failed I sent in my pet to taunt and used FD liberally. At 49 if you can get the roamers single and root lasts even half it's duration then you shouldn't have much problem with the roamers.
Once the roamers are dead, there is a lone archon of malevolence to the left as you face the tunnel out. If you run straight at him and root/dot/send pet, you should be able to tackle him without getting adds. He can be a bit tricky, as he can heal and complete heal, and you have to be REALLY careful about where you run around him. I tried to stay just out of his melee range. Even if he complete heals, I never found him to be extraordinarily difficult to bring down as long as there are no adds.
Once the archon is dead, there is a servant of hate just to the left side of the tunnel out. You should have no problem root-rotting him and sending the pet to finish him off.
By this time, you might want to think about heading back to the safe spot to med/heal up. The mobs in here respawn on intervals somewhere in the 16-19 minute range, and by the time you finish fighting the above mobs it won't be long before the roamers start to pop again. once they do, rinse and repeat as above.
Incidentally, I got both my organs to drop from the roamers (an initiate of hate I think they were called) within a few hours of camping in there. Only took 3 deaths to perfect my strategy.
One warning: If you are in there solo, DO NOT TOUCH any of the mobs that are grouped around the two fires. I foolishly thought I could single pull them and I was wrong. And they aren't always fooled by FD when this happens.
Good luck, and bring some food and plenty of bag space. I got about 300pp worth of gems, weapons, and other fun stuff while in here.
i got that much in sharp luggold wishbone. was here for 3 hours with a group of 5. 2 necs want spell, cleric, chanter, and a monster wizard. only one to die was the wizard. had over 2233 pp to share among the 5 of us from gems and words...some i didn't sell as high end research. i was destroying things, and still had over 15 luggold daggers at 4pp each. (if you get a sharpened luggold claw, they go for 3pp and are stackable...destroy dagger. :) good hunting.
Necrum Mantzer 45 necromancer (most conned red to me, but i was the little one.)

i just spent 4 hours clearing the whole cave with my guild and not one dropped...have these been nerfed to a rare drop? or do i just have some of the worst luck =P?
Quin is right. As you travel into the Caves, take the first tunnel to the right. This goes into a open cave. What for the Archons as they Complete Heal themselves and a DB con to a 51 Necro is a gross undercon. Had a 50 monk and 54 rogues there as well and the Archon gave the three of us fits. (I am 51 Necro). But yes we grabbed the Lugglad Organs real fast. 20 minutes maybe and ended up letting another one rot. We also were getting Luggald Flesh (different quest) pretty steady there as well. These beasties hit much harder than the beasties on the boats as well. In that cave you might get two in a pull sobe ready to FD them. The Archons have a wider agro range FYI.
I looted on of these in Gunthak Tunnels, not far from teh cross roads where yuo choose between Nadox and Dulak. I forget teh name but it was a Luggald something that attacked us while we were killing everything in the tunnel. The mob is one of the robed undead looking creatures that roams to corridor. He was DB to me at 49 (necro) but was fairly easy to take down with a 44 BL and 39 Necro as well. I spent a large amount of time in teh Luggald caves with little luck and this one was a real surprise when I looted it.
these really ONLY drop from Servants of hate, the highest concentration of these guys is in the first Eastern Cave. I got both organs within 30 minutes there, dont waste your time moving deeper inside, as you will encounter fewer servants. and the mobs just get more and more hitpoints
Sorry, but the above is WRONG. We hunted in the Luggald Caves last night, and basically used Pacify/Pull techniques to clear the first room on the right systematically. I got 2 Organs in 1 hour, and neither from a Servant of Hate. Best guess, just clear that room and keep it cleared and they'll drop for ya. One drop came from "An Incantator of Malevolence" and the other from "An Archon of..." something. (As usual, the list here isn't quite complete yet...grr).
After spending some more time in the caves, did a little more exploring and managed to get 3 organs(need one more still).
Had been spending time down the second corridor off the bridge by the stairs and inside the room there, but as soon as we went back to the bridge and started to move further into the caves, we started getting the organs.
Luggalds are dark blue, black, and even some yellow cons to a group of level 48's when you go further into the caves. We went up to the end of the third offshoot, but had to work our way out again because it was getting late.
Food Make sure you have alot of food in your first couple of slots. My 51 cleric Akusha (The Rathe) was helping 3 Necros and a Shadowknight camp these. We needed 8 organs total. Well into the third hour of the camp and one of the Necros noticed that His Luggald Organs have poofed, but he had aquired an extra Luggald Flesh. He had run out of food earlier. When you nibble off the Organs they turn into Flesh. Took the heart out of the entire group. After a quick inventory check turned out 2 of the 3 Necros had accidently eaten the drop.
