Has the Plainsight effect changed? I used to be able to see myself when I was hidden but now I can't since the New Expansion The Serpent's Spine came out. Was this supposed to happen? I know I'm not "Technically" invisible, but I am hidden and used to be able to see myself.. did the change this?

I'm a barb rog, can't see in the dark at all so this is nice, plus it has see invis which makes sneak attacks easier and faster to pull off. I love it, got most of the set at 56 so the obtainable lvl doesn't mean much obviously. ))

I must say, I just do not like the effect that this helmet has. Im a half-elf, so I already can see in the dark, and seeing invisible is a spell most casters i group with always have anyways. If only this thing just had some more beneficial effect, like a Backstab bonus- I realize that wouldnt make sense, but at least it would be better for a rogue item!

Regardless of the PoTranq level restriction, you cannot do this quest until level 55, regardless of any flags you may have.

Aye, tis true, but the NPC you need to talk to to get the forge and the emblem will not deal with you until you are 55.

has no graphic, just did quest at 55, no lvl restriction on the item itself, duno bout quest. Love my new helm =)
How is it you did the quest at 55? Are you tier 3 plane flagged? You have to be flagged for a tier 3 plane in order to do the quest. Doesn't matter if you can get into the plane or not, only if you are flagged. Just because you can walk into BoT doesnt mean you can do the quest.
There is no flag restriction on this quest. Tranquility patterns are sold in the bazaar everyday. After the pattern, the furnace and seal are obtained in PoT and the rings are player made.

No matter if you have access to the planes that the armour drops in or not you HAVE to be flagged to finish the quest or the dwarf dude will not talk to you (He will say you need to get more planar experience). I know because I was one of those people who got an ornate pattern BEFORE I was flagged and the dwarf kept telling me I needed more planar exp even though I was in BOT already (64). I have all sorts of stanos armour on now and until I was flagged for one of the tier 3 planes where the armour drops (BoT or Drunder) you can NOT complete the quest even if you buy ALL the stuff you need to do it in the bazaar. Learn before you speak bud (if you didn't know you should have kept your mouth shut).
With the patch that changed level restrictions for entering certain planes the flagging is no longer required. My 59 Rogue spoke with Bors, forked over 500pp and received the emblem and furnace yesterday October 16, 2003. Rogue is not flagged for any planes. Perhaps you obtained yours back before they made the changes, but I can tell you for certain you do not have to be flagged.
Yep, I confirmed that this is now so. I took my 55 necro to bors to get the tranquility armour quest and sure enough with no flags he gave it to me. This is a big change from what he used to do but I am glad that they finally did it. Maybe all the complaining I did with my rogue and him not being able to get the quest had something to do with it. I would like to think so at any rate.

All you need to get Ornate armor now is level 55 OR a flag. Not sure if factory flag or something cheesy liek that actually counts, but I know PoS/PoV trial flag does.

Yea but it also says cloth for something like custom cowl of mortality and i know that has distinctive graphic

Does anyone know what graphic this helm has...is it the ordinary chain graphic or perhaps the customized look?
