Caught with 22 fishing skill, vendor pole and grubs 6/7/23

fishing 206/200 using Brell's summoned pole and Hargar's special bait - fished from the first pool in zone: Caverns of Endless Song today on Povar server
I went there as a lvl 56 rouge and started fishing with a skill of 21. I caught my first Jelly with skill of 32.

dont think there is a minimum. fished it up at (58)
Yup, off the rock, skill of 70 took about 15 min to catch 2 of these. Skill was 75 by then.

Fishing this thing up for the Rogue Freshman Toxicological Test quest (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=3569). It took about an hour at a Fishing skill of 100 to fish up 2 of them. I got about 3 Gunthak Gourmami's as well. Lots of Rusty Daggers and soggy shoes. Went through about 25 baits too.

Out of 100 Casts with a skill level of 200 in fishing. I fished right off the side of the boat, I was levitated and just walked down near the water under the dock.
Ovate Jellyfish = 9
Gunthak Gourami = 3
Deep Sea Urchin = 16
Moray Eel = 9
I spilled 12 beers which was total BS, and I didn't catch something 13 times. The other stuff I caught was either fresh fish or crap.

I just got mine and my fishing skill was at 29. I was on the line of big rocks near the port in from pok.

Is there one place better than others for catching these Ovate Jellies??
What skill is needed in fishing to get this?

I started out with really low fishing skill to fish for it. Got the first one as soon as my skill hit 75.
My fishing skill is around 99. I get at least one out of every 10-20 productive casts in the Gulf of Gunthak. Unfortunately, druids don't make poison, so I just sell.

Used for rogue poison Nematocyst Poison, 1 jellyfish, line poison vile, constrict suspension. Gives you a buff that last for about 15 minutes and gives a 45dd proc to any weapon you use.
This poison is now used as part of the Rogue Epic 1.5 by the way.
actually the effect is a DD that does 3839 hp or at least thats what it used to say,maybe its a bug

What level does it hit for that though? I have a rogue and am able to make that poison, and haven't seen it hit for that amount of damage so far. But yes, it is a DD type poison.
Nm i think the writing of the effect on it was a ***** up but not sure

I show the same msg when I made Anemone Feedback (which lasts the same amount of time as Nematocyst but is a weak lifetap). Text said it was almost a 4k DD. Lol, I wish.
