Robe of Breath  

 

I bought one today for my enchanter in Morell Thule Bazaar for 15PP. Nice robe. My Necro on the same server uses Crystal Covered Shroud but I may buy him one of these if I can find another for that price. Don't underestimate the value of the STA bonus on this. For swimming, running, jumping, or meleeing it really does help. I really haven't been in a situation yet where I could put the fire resist to the test, but I'm sure I will soon enough, and AC of 9 is nice for a lowbie caster who is still using melee on occasion. INT bonus is good extra mana too. Go out and get you one while they're cheap.

I must also point out that my chanty is still a baby at level 11 and looking through the equipment list here on Allakhazams I see no other robe with a higher INT bonus in any zone that I could possibly hunt in right now. There are a few crafted robes I could buy when I eventually save up the money, but thats still a long ways off yet. So if you are too low to hunt for the good stuff and your tradeskill abilities are pathetic, or you're just poor like me, :) then this is probably the best you'll be able to do without having wealthy or powerful friends twinking the hell out of you at every turn.
