this is not part of BoT tower key the 1 u thinking of is lightning gem not lightning encased signet...no info on this other then it sales .... cant sale lighning gem

4 Gems combined in ring for "tower" access.... Then you need 4 sphere's for access to "Agnarr"... Seeing as this item sells to vendors well, id guess its more then likely just that.... vendor fodder...
got 209plat for it also, the no drops are different items altogether, they just have the same graphic.

Got on today and it is NO DROP - must have been changed recently. Do not think it is part of the BOT Keys, either. Two sets of keys; one key has 4 gems; second key has 4 spheres. Need special container to combine the 4 gems or the 4 spheres. As to what this is for, I'm not sure. Could be another key of some kind as there are 4 towers. If so, no heard of more than the 2 keys.
Just had one drop today and it wasn't no-drop. Not sure what you looted but the one I looted was droppable.

A "Lightning Gem" is the part of the BoT key that drops from the west. Also there's the "Blizzard Gem", the "Tornado Gem", and a "Sandstorm Gem". These four gems go into a "Ring of Torden" and combine to give you an "Enchanted Ring of Torden" which is the BoT towers access key.

..... This iteam is part of a quest ... it is 1/5 of a 5 part quest.. you need a ring from a named .. and for difernt types of stones. That are dropded in BOT .... the end resualt is a key to the bot tower

This item is NOT part of a quest, it IS vendor loot. The quest for tower key was stated already, so I won't go over it again.
