There is no level restriction but, if you check out the recipe, you will see that it uses stuff that drops only in level 65 zones....which is a sorta level restriction. By the time you are 65 and playing in the zone where the components drop, you are no longer interested in making these or any other or in the plat unless you are selling plat outside the game.
Well first, there IS a level restriction. Note that it is required level 46 to wear, and recommended level 63 for full stats.
Also, just because a guild has cracked into the Elemental planes, doesn't mean they all automatically get handed elemental gear. This stuff is very nice armor, and elemental guilds can use it to fill in the weak slots on any members who don't have better. The nice part about smithed gear is you don't have to hold your breath and hope the specific piece you need drops. Get the materials for a combine, and make whatever piece you need, the molds are storebought. There is bound to be someone who could use SOME piece of livestone armor, in most elemental guilds (even if its only their twinks).
Lastly, elemental access does not immediately endow all guild members with unlimited platinum. The elemental capable guilds on my server seem to be willing to sell the materials for livestone, although the price is steep.
I have made 2 livestone plate Breastplates, one for personal use, and one to sell, from stuff purchased in the bazaar.
It cost me over 50kpp in materials per combine, I got VERY lucky and succeeded both, and recouped all my cash and then some selling the BP.
Some of the components needed to craft this Tunic drop in plane of earth. I believe you need to kill Fennin Ro who is in plane of fire before you get into PoE.
*applaud*, finally tradeskill items are uber again. I no longer feel sorry for people who wasted money on smithing. I would have to say any class should prefer this over farwater, because of the 25svm, which is alot more important than disease and poison.
i dont know. 15 to dis and pois isnt so bad, being as the sv magics seem to be easier to ocme by on other items, but thats not the deciding factor to me. I'd pick farwater personally cause its got more hp's too (120hp +8sta).
Anyone know if these have a recommended or required lvl on them? Because if not, im going to have my necro specialize in Smithing to make these new armors for my ranger and rogue! Oh, and at that, anyone know how much it would cost to raise a smithing skill from 1-250? I want these pieces and the Farwater pieces badly!
Uber my butt, tradeskills are barely being drug along to keep up with dropped armor. Either every dropped item in the game should have a level restriction of some sort, and every tradeskill created one not have one, or the difficulty in producing something that is usable at the level it is reasonably attainable without buying it from someone else is such that you can make the item BEFORE you have something better that drops, rather than after.
On the idea of fashion statements, however... remember when dyed plate was all the rage? Then everyone wanted dyed droppable armors, only to find out the items on your character are only pointers to a database, not an individual item... (never mind the fact that most armor models have multiple palettes with the same texture, and they could just make a palette for every dyeable color... but I'm just a broadcasting major, what do I know about programming? :) *prods Verant* )
anyone with this that wants to sell it let me know bueller on lans. that is one bad azz tunic for anyone that can get it this is great for rangers. it has every stat that a ranger needs + mana + hp that is very nice very nice!!!! I would love a whole set of this please
