Just a thought. The glowing mask you need to get this can come off a monk skeleton. If a monk skeleton can wear it, why not other monks?
Why? Why? WHY? WHY???!!!! DUH! Becuase it's a lightsource. i mean yeah, sure, you can do kill a gnoll a get a splitpaw mask, sure. those are a lightsource too, but guess what. this one A) lights up more B) Better stats C) Sounds cooler, and people won't think you'r a newb monk.

I have a tendency to agree with you on this one. There are a lot better monk face items available than this that don't require the kind of work involved in getting it and there really aren't any stats on this item that benefit a monk to any useful degree. If it was me, I'd drop the monk useability on this item and open it up to all INT casters instead.

Well after a day of vigorus running around....I got it! The quest itself was quite easy. Just had one friend with me the whole time. As a enchanter more focused on INT then CHA, I like it alot. A nice bonus is also the froglok scryer that drops the mask in Guk also drops a woven bracelet that is INT 3 with other stats. So, its like a double bonus. =)
CAn this mask Be Multi-Quested ?

Yes the mask can be multiquested, did it with 3 characters at once, not sure on faction since they all conned amiable, hope this helps.

My chanter has been wearing a mushroom veil - luckily found it on a vendor in the Bazaar (once only, been looking ever since).
AC 8, DEX 12, MANA 55, sv vs DISEASE 15

Any chanter who isn't a dark elf, since they can't equip it...as well, you have to have HUGE faction to get this mask, at warmly the NPC took the huge mushroom head from my troll and did not return the veil.

I would guess people who can't afford a mushroom veil.
Exactly, and almost nobody is going to be lucky enough to get the veil for a few sp.
That's apparently an old picture. Iksar monks can wear this too if they so desire.

Enchanters get a great face slot item boosting their two most needed stats better than most other gear out there. Heck even for a monk 7 cha on a 0.4 wt item that you can carry around and pop on when you visit a vendor is nothing to laugh at.

This is a nice Enchanter item to have as it gives you both INT and CHA. For those of us that are trying to get both stats as high as possible a item like this is really nice to have...

Aye, This is one of the most intelligence rewarding mask for enchanters ever. This is definitely on my wish list! =)
