I have been here 18 hours and counting, killing every Drolvarg in the zone as they spawn, and have not even seen a hint of these. I have gotten virtually every other drop you can get in the zone, including all the other class armor drops AND a Tranquil Staff. This has honestly been almost my longest camp ever only second to raster...
> At what level can you use the right > click effect? Thanks.
As mentioned below, you can right-click this if you're level 45.
These do NOT require the use of a Wind instrument, nor does actually singing the song Aria of Eagles.
You CAN activate this effect and then sing Selos. As mentioned, these boots are a great way to remove the need to twist if just traveling.
Personally, I'll be carrying these even when I'm no longer wearing them. I don't need the rest of the effects of the SS armor, and the combined stats of other full sets are better anyway (currently gunning for Bravado (Twilight Sea), mostly in the Bazaar :) )
Aye once you get Selo's Song of Travel, these boots are a great way to NOT kill people when carrying them over mountainous regions. Just click em before you head off and no more 10k falls for your passengers =)
The spell itself doesn't even require a wind instrument, so the clicky effect shouldn't either (which I'll find out when I get a pair; I was putting it off until I read that the clicky effect lasts minutes).
I just saw these at the vender for only 330pp on my Vallon Zek and after reading these posts i found they go for around 600pp. I just wish i had 330pp on my bard :(
I got a pair of these in kc the other day after joining a group for a mere few minutes. Took a couple days but i finally sold them to a bard on the zeb server for 600pp.
I looted a pair of SS boots in KC, and have no personal use for them. I will let them go to a bard in need for a reasonable price. Send me a tell on the E'ci server, if you would like a pair. Good Hunting.

The proc starts at level 45. The new proc as of the patch is levitate song (Agilmente's Aria of Eagles) except it is self (possible group, I only know it isn't targetable and only played my bard long enough to see how worthless the new proc was so I never got in a group) only, lasts a little longer than the song of the same name, can't be procced while singing, has same casting time as all the bard songs, doesn't last nearly as long as any levitate spell that casters get. I almost liked summon water better, I'd call this a nerf but going from one worthless proc to another isn't really a step down...
As of the latest patch, 3/27/01, the proc has been changed from Summon Water to the level 31 levitate song. One less song to twist for me I suppose. Still bummed it only procs at 45. =(
