Planes of PowerDoes anyone know if the poison damage is enacted before level 50? I have it at level 44 and the poison DMG isn't in red; I would assume this means it is being factored into my DMG output?

poison damage DOES work before the rec level... my pally had a Vengeful Diamond Blade before the rec level and i was hitting way too hard for it to not have been kicking in.

I am unsure about whether it works pre-50, but I can tell you that it is factored straight into the damage. Ie. you will not get a seperate message for the poison, it will simply say, you punch %T for xx... Will not give you any resist messages either if the mob is resisting the poison dmg.
I just consider it a 10/20 weapon in comparing the ratio instead of a 12/20. If it is adding extra dmg, I couldn't tell and I consider it icing, er a little less rusty... Worth the 800-1200 people are selling it for constantly on Xev.

This is a random drop from the Corroded Prototypes, as I've seen. Big stringy things with buzzsaws for hands, easy kills with just a normal exp group. Hits and HP seem to be same as other entrance mobs, and is also slowable. is a randome spawn lately, first time I saw one was back aways in the corridor to the right, next two were at the first spawn point from zone in. Just some info for those wondering

Dropped from a Corroded Prototype. Easy kill with 57 tank, mid 50's bard, mage, ranger, shammy, and 46 cleric.
Got this drop today won roll off of a Malfunctioning Prototype JUST FYI..for the price it wields i think id rather keep it for my monk. its avg 1-2k on drinal, and thats kinda crappy for the stats of this. :( oh well

A darn good weapon nontheless. I will be using instead of JM for stats and h2h training until I am Epic'd. this with SoS offhand till skills are maxed for level, then back to the 'ol high output 2hb. IMO it should be about 2k but who knows where it will end up.

you guys do great. i use CR or Lucy when i need spell info, but whenever i need quest info or want to look an item up (where it is from, what it is for) this site is a LOT more complete and easier to find stuff in. keep up the good work.

I would not suggest going here without many friends. I want here at level 55 last night. I was in a group with 4 others people. They were all 60. The mobs hit hard and fast. The high was 258 and the average was 190-200. I had 1005 ac. I died real fast. Some of the mobs here see invis, but zone in seems reasonably safe. The zone is interesting though.

this zone (like most POP zones and LOY zones) has a basic principal of hit insanely hard, dont have too many HP (just the opposite of Luclin huh, no more 20 minute VT fights just because it takes THAT long to kill him while your clerics and sitting around CHing every now and then cuz they hit like wusses rofl). PoD trash (rats and stuff) hits around 250, but most anything deeper is around 350, PoN is 320-350, PoI is 250-290ish, PoJ is 100-150ish for prisoners/rats/sentries, 200 for gaolers, around 250 for enforcers. so if you dont have a slower or a good healer.. you will die fast. but its not THAT bad.. ive seen like 62 beastlords solo PoI ent, and 61 shammys with their pet tanking.. /shrug. back to the weapon, this is one of the rarer drops off the 'loot mobs'. i find that the smoothmetal torque thing is the most common, the bellow's crafted cap a little rarer, this is even RARER (i am not positive what, if anything, drops from the loot mobs). just my observation, post what ya will.

Umm, allow me to reach a bit here and suggest you group with a SLOWER in Plane of Innovation! You are right, even the easy mobs in this zone will lay down the smack on you quickly - trust me, I've died here too many times. Shammy slow before Chanter slow, but slow nonetheless.
Oh, and I got this weapon on NBG with a group of strangers - very generous peeps. It's a decent weapon, I especially like the +10 STA.

That sounds about right. Was in PoD at 49 with high level group and stuff there was hitting between 170-250 per pop. Definitely not good when you only have 1900-2500hp buffed (which my ranger had depending on cleric who was casting). With a good, higher level group helping you out, you should be able to put out the damage and pull XP down fast. Got about a blue and a half in about 30-45 mins (and that was interrupted by a res of our MT once and our necro). Key is just don't swing too fast and don't get adds or the stuff WILL aggro and smack you up faster than a pimp who didn't get his money.
No, mobs here hit hard and exceptionally slow compared to many other high lvl mobs in the game.
this ulak is real, we spent several hours trying to get the pieces to get the large dragon machine working and one of the items we got was this ulak, could be better for a recomended lvl of 50, considering you can get fist of irn witch is way better and no recomended lvl on it.
I looked for irn or anything with this, you simply missed the o? Fists of Iron?

I'm kind of hoping this is a joke post, if not then I hope you're VERY young Ron :P
In any case if this is on the up then there is one major reason why you don't want these Ulaks - they are recommended level 50 - the stats for someone equipping below that level are heavily reduced.

Hey im 13 IRL too.
Itt's not common to find someone under the age of 13 or over 40 people so i automaticly assume that who ever i group with is around 27 but hey one of me friends has a nine yr old daughter with a lv 45 ran on rodchet so anythings possible

wow this post area is getting small LOL. im 14 (will be 15 in about a month) and i have a level 59 ranger (who, if you ask most people, will tell you i do a better job than most rangers in their 50s), a 49 Pally, a 37 Cleric, and various other insignificant alts. /shrug
