I find it funy that Solsek drops cape with "Marrs" effect, while ralos Zek drop cape with "Solsek" effect. Now they need to give Marr somethign with "Zek" effect and we gona be all set
It used to be that the absolute maximum on items--due to the way EQ was coded--was 127 for hp/mana. That cap has been removed now, and I have seen some items in-game that have more than 125 on them (belt, +300 hp, mage summonable, no class/no race--made to give to pets).
I never saw them state that they WOULDN'T do more than 125 on an item, but logically, if they can, they will only put more than 125 on an item if it is the ultimate of the high-end or if it has other negative stats. After all, if people get too much hp too fast, encounters will have to be made with people who have incredible amounts of hp taken into account--and those who don't have that much hp will not be able to win those encounters.
I thought Verant stated that the +125 hp +125 mana cap on items would not be raised in POP. Either I am mistaken, this is possibly a fake, or once again Verant contradicts themselves. Hope it's the latter.
