Just curious but if anyone remembers the days before PoP, was 17 dmg on a backstab a big thing? Seems like almost too easy to do damage to this guy with the insane base damage then adding the bane damage to it on all these weapons...
My guild killed Seru. Man what a struggle that was. We just didnt go up and kill him either, this guy was a mob you had to get learning experiance on. now with the 17/18 BS agro problem. Well he has one nasty AE dot. This guy and the entire process to learning how to kill him will definately put your patience to limits and beyond. Dont worry about angering this guy. After your learning attempts and when you gather the knowledge to kill him you will now just what to do and how to manage. If you havent killed yet I wish you the best of luck, If ya have killed him I hope they fix the invulernability bug in his dome which seemed to have happened when they messed up ssra and seru packet loss patch. it seems when fighting in theese zones in big raids every tik or other tik the game pauses for a second or 2 and continues. At first we thought it was lag but it turned out everyone gets it so its zone =(
all parts to seru bane weapons are tradeable but final combine makes a no drop weapon.
Normally Bane damage is added to the dmg when it hits the specific mob (meaning this Would be 17/18 dagger vs Seru) BUT if what I read is correct, Seru can ONLY be hit by bane dmg, meaning this is a 6/18 dagger vs Seru.
That is incorrect in it being a 6/18 weapon vs Seru. Lord Seru is hurt only from Band Damage weapons meaning that even if something was 40/40, it wouldn't hit him at all. But if there was a Seru Bane damage of +1 then it would a 41/40 weapon against Seru. not 1/40. Normal Bane damage just takes the +Bane number and add's it to the base damage, but in Lord Seru's case, you need a Bane Seru damage weapon just to hit him. Thats how it works it his case.
