The Dragons expansion added a smithed Erudite Sewing Kit:

Thimble Mold
Needle Mold
Small Brick of Titanium
Water Flask

The titanium costs about 18p with charisma over 115 and is sold by Erudite near the cultural forge in Erudin. This makes a NEW sew kit that is 10 slot, the old is 8 and doesn't work anymore. When you get this kit, any recipes you had in the old one will reappear. I grudgingly give SOE credit for at least not making us re-learn the recipes THIS time.
