Dropped from Avatar of Fear at the end of the ring of thule event.

Drops in the Ring of Thule event, off the Avatar of Dread (3rd fight just before Avatar of fear), Avatar of Dread hits for 486 max (?) does one DT but doesnt refresh. ring it self is easy, Avatar of Fear himself tho its 800ish with a 1k proc (which is VERY often) so can have a adv hit of 1800. nasty event, and boring.. most of the loot is junk

Hi there! Anyone knows from which mobs this Sword drop? I saw in the "equipment per zone" overview, that it will drop from "multiple creatures".
But I don`t think that it could drop from every gimp mob in CT.
So, anyone has an idea which mobs must be killed to have a chance on a feartoched greatsword drop?

there was a day when this seemed so far away. now my guild is doing HoT and CT on a regular basis. I was on a few CT raids myself lately. Suddenly this item seems like less of a dream and more like... well... un.. dream...ish.... yeah.
Will someone from Afterlife, or whoever has this thing post something on Magelo so those of us puttin together our "dream profiles" can use it?

This is a good wepon for all the classes as listed. As for benifiting the SHD the most this is prolly true to some extent but I know for sure that Pallies need int as well to stop those anoying fizzles. When I put my wiz gear on (some with bonus INT ) I hardly ever get a Fizz.
Would love more info on this wepon if anyone has it please :o)

Think of an Arbitors Combine Greatsword... great ratio, and a ShadowKnight would be happy with it... but the WIS on it just screams Paladin... but then again, who's to say this isn't going to a Warrior for a SA weapon...

Actually, Pallys need not int to cast, but wis. So, the int on this is worthless to them. Great sword nonetheless, good for all classes that can use but I lean towards SK..Any class that can dual wield should do so.
judging by the stats and comparison to other CT 2handers, I would assume that this item drops in one of the Ring of Thule fights.
I would also make the same assumption based on the fact Afterlife is on the pick with other released items. I think they found something to do there

Basically a good any class item listed on there, only one I could see that would benefit it from that sword the most would be an SHD, since they can use all the stats on that weapon.

All I can do is look at this thing and dream. WOW !!! Some day I will be a good enough level and make enough friends to aquire this thing. If anyone plays the Nameless hunt me up sometime as we grow in levels and beat back the evil forces of Norrath we shall one day possess this weapon.
Right now on the Nameless there are only a few quilds able to get this.
Remedy, Crimson Tempest, maybe Kylin Eyes, Maybe War Dragon, and MAYBE super MAYBE Brothers of Darkness.
Level up and get in one of those and you might have a chance ;)
