At 250, this isn't trivial, but I'm wondering what chance a 250 smith (also has a 5% mod from geerlock) has at making this. I'm not a rich guy, had to sell some gear to get the blue diamonds to make this and soon a 250 smith friend of mine will be attempting to combine this. Fail or succeed, it's money well spent, but I just wonder what my chances are of having a nice new BP after this.

A 250 smith with a geerlok gets all of 2 points added to his skill, as skill is hardcapped at 252.

all GM level armors run about a 30-50% success rate. Plan on 3 tries and hope for the best.

Does anyone know what shade this armor is? I'm assuming it has the plate armor graphic, but does it have any certain color or just the standard fine plate color? I can dream...
Plate Look, kinda tannish brownish... not outstanding whatsoever.

Before you exclaim so forcefully that this is "BULL" please look at the recipe and price any one ingredient that costs a single gold piece. I will not say you could not have purchased one for a gold piece and if you have it and are willing to sell it for 100pp, I will happily purchase it from you. Thus, with the 100pp and your 1gp breastplate selling crafter, you would soon be a millionaire, for I will indeed buy each and every Fine Heraldic Breastplate you can sell to me for 100pp.
This applies to any server as I will create a newbie and borrow 100pp from anyone.
Sigh, oh well, just go to your local bazaar, EC tunnel on my server, and /AUC it to the highest bidder. You'll definitely see ears perk up in anticipation when you announce a Heraldic Fineplate Breastplate for anywhere under 25kpp.
