I had the best luck farming these in Lavastorm Mountains killing all the goblins in zone and then doing drakes in between spawns for the two items for the poisonmaking part of the artisan's aug.
I cleared Sol A and only got 1 vs. getting about 2-3 per clear in LM.

I have found that Solosek's Eye is a great place for a rogue to harvest, not only poison ingredients such as Soot Hemlock and Asmag Weed, but platinum as well. The goblins in Sol A tend to drop a lot of fine steel weapons and other items such as Flame Agates that make for nice vendor loot. Another good thing about Sol A for rogues, two Rogue Redemption quest items, the Clockwork Oil Stout, and A Sparkle Purse, are obtained here.
This is used as an ingredient in the rogue poisons:
Dilapidating Ash (Lower Resist, Tier II), Shadowveil Hemlock (Blind, Tier III) and Acidic Dissolver (Summoned, Tier III).
This also drops from the goblins at the camp near Najena in Lavastorm who also drop Asmag Weed (another poison ingredient).
