Definitely worth the skill-ups

Man, this is an outstanding piece of armor for the chain classes. I could definitely see going from 35-55 in this (with the other pieces as well, of course). Good STR and DEX ups, a couple of saves and excellent AC. Here's hoping the presence on these will start to push down the price of other similar upper-middle chest pieces (Barbed Ringmail, for example).

It would indeed appear to be chain, given the classes that can use it, but I would have to say that the name is somewhat misleading. Ive never heard of Field Plate actually being chain armour, but this is a great break for the shammies and rangers out there.

It's not chain armor (graphic wise, and description wise) but usable by chain-class armor users. Very nice for a change of pace. (might even have rogues fooling others into thinking their warriors :) )
