Ruins of Kunark
OK, After slaughtering countless reavers I can confirm this item does drop but it comes from a very specific reaver.
The ONLY reaver that can drop this (as far as I can tell) is the one that sits on the platform up the elevator, in front of the 3 spawn. The same Black Reaver that shares a spawn with Tzirathk. It only has the chance to drop when that specific reaver dies, and will never drop from any additional reavers spawned.

I agree that I had to kill that Very Specific Reaver to get the blade for The Blade of Sirrik quest. (First on my server, yay!) However, I observe in this month's patch notes that they've changed it so any black reaver can drop the blade now. That will certainly make it easier to do the quest since there's one reaver down in the entrance room; I had to smuggle in my level-20 alt rogue to lockpick the elevator.

Actually thats pretty good for twinkies, around lv 20 you will hit hard and fast. And it isnt too hard to get a twink alt right there, just invis and run up to your friends, log out and hope for it to drop.
Has anyone identified the blade? I'm almost certain it'd be for a quest. Even despite the fact that all of the CoM weapons are pretty obsolete, this thing would never have been a worthwhile weapon to get, even before Kunark. As such, I bet it's for a quest. I would check Magelo, but it's not working on my computer :(
Identify doesn't give any further info on this blade, unfortunately.

This is thing is Vendor Trash.. total POS (12/30 2HS) By the time you get high enough level to tackle Black Reavers this will be useless.

This has GOT to be part of an unfinished/broken quest. Can't be vendor food since it's nodrop, but geesh the stats are insanely bad for this level.

I didn't loot it. I just took the Screen shot to send into Allakhzam's. I actually dont know who looted it since we didn't have any Iksar Warriors or SKs on that raid.
