Cazic-Thule.

| The Accursed Temple of Cazic Thule sits in the southern portion of the Feerrott. Dwelling within its boundaries are a whole host of lizardmen worshippers and various aggressive species ranging from spiders, raptors, and giant mosquitoes to bubbling oozes, gorillas, and greenblood piranha, all of which fiercely protect the temple grounds.

Anyone know what drops Pristine Tae Ew Scales?
Do u think a group as : Dru 54 (me), Wizz 63, Cleric 54, another Cleric 57/or another wizz 58, and a War is a viable group to go there and have good exp and loot? And if yes wich camp is the better for us ?

You need at least a slower, and most camps require crowd control. Make friends with a 55+ enchanter, or learn how to single pull the sewers.

I've read somewhere there are croc's down some well that can be pulled out and can be solo'd be a lvl 32+ warrior easy? Anyone heard of these? I didn't see them on the list. Thanks for your time!

Since PoP this place is EMPTY! :-/ Atleast on Fennin. So bring your own group if you are going here. Nice loot and exp at 60.
Same on Tholuxe... and yes, good xp and loot. Nothing compared to some of the Tier 2 planes, naturally, but I'm still jonesing for a couple sewers drops.
I'm trying to get my guild into farming it. Time was when sewers was perma-camped. Now there's barely anyone in zone hehe

The warrior type mobs don't take as long to bring down as the ones in Umbral Plains but the caster type mobs can be a pain. At 55 I was getting 1 percent normal exp every ~ 3 mobs. I was grouped with 60 sham, enc, war, cle, druid though. We were fighting in the maze; most mobs were dark blue with an occasion even or yellow con. No names popped. From what I understand, only the named dropped the decent loot here? In UP it's all random (better drops).
Seems to me they are missing some important MOBs here...doesn't The Avatar of Fear or even Cazic Thule himself now reside here? I've spoken to a couple high levels who said they had been summoned by them while running around frolicking...what a rude dose of reality that would be :P

Any monster level 50 and over have the ability to summon. I would suppose all the monsters could summon.
Well, not exactly ANY mob 50 and over. There are many mobs in many zones that are 50+ and do not summon, and also there are several I can think of under 50 that do. Take the Great Saph in Echo-Luclin, or the two diff boss Kly on 3rd lvl Dalnirs-Kunark for example. All under 50 and Summon. As a matter of fact, 2 of those three I mentioned are listed as under lvl 40. I have personally been summoned by them as 55 dru even though mob descriptions currently dont say the Kly summon.
And there are the post-50s that do not as well (as you mentioned): Elysians in UP (I think they're the only UP mobs that don't summon); aliens in ME; Shik Nar in FG; and many others in many zones.

How about that stupid scorpion spawn (Tail Fang) in Shar Vahl .. he's like lvl 4 and summons.

What mob here looks like a spectre plz.I saw it through the wall.(glitch)Had 2 lizzy guards in close proximity.Could not tell name age or sex.No necro PC's in zone so dont even go there.Servers fell over (-sorry VI pushed them over yet again)so I will go back and stick my face through the wall and see if it is still up or named and ph'ed now.
Oops just realized you said there were no necro PCs (I had thought you said NPCs). Either way, I've never seen a spectre looking mob in here. Sorry I couldn't help ya.
Some of the Tae Ew and some of the Thul Tae Ew are most certainly necros. That said though, I don't think any of the lizards summon pets; neither necro nor shaman lizards do.

Posted: Aug 16 2002 at 5:58 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) i ventured in here today in an attemp to solo as a lvl 60 warrior . lol you can laugh all you wantbut i have some pretty frikkin uber stuff. i soloed for about 6 hours, bumming heals after every 2 or 3 kills. i got some ok loot, but it was just too hard to solo. anyways i got in a frikkin amazing group, we pulled nonstop till the monk pulled 5 at once and we got killed. just thought i would tell warriors that its possible to solo anywhere if you put your mind to it :-).

This guy is full of it. I have seen his posts else where. None of which where very insightful at all. Definately shows no real knowledge of the game. Probably just some kid that created their magelo by searching for the best gear in the game. Oh, BTW, how do you get your VT key w/o being in a guild...

Tto be not in a guild and have that equipment is impossible on Prexus seeing as how there is only one guild currently with Vex Thal keys (Keepers of the Faith), yet somehow you have loot from Vex Thal =P. Even with that equipment you couldn't solo in CT.

I was wondering if I was the only one who saw something fishy about him :D
I didnt bother looking at the magelo profiles because I don't care. But the thing that I saw that was strange is that he said he was "soloing" and "bumming a heal after 2 or 3 kills"... that doesn't sound much like soloing to me.

was in the modbowl area today and a named raptor spawned, Frightchaser. was yellow to me at 57. couldn't kill it, so no clue what he drops :p

We zoned in at the CT wiz portal, pulled a fierce tiger raptor from straight ahead (very close) and in it's place respawned Dreadfang. He was very nasty and flurried a lot. With some help we were able to take him down and I ended up winning his legs.

Naggy is a dragon that spawns in Sol B, also in the same spawn spot that Ragefire spawns in. Sol B is not a solo area its definitely a raid area for levels 45 to 52, because if you are over level 52 you will be teleported out as soon as you enter the lair. Not to say 52+ can't help you get to the lair they just can't go in for Naggy. Hope this helps you.

Depending upon your class and skill, soloing the greater kobolds in Nagafen's Lair (aka Sol B) can be quite lucrative in terms of both plat and experience for someone in their high 40s. Perhaps higher than that if you move to killing bats and bugs.
Certainly Nagafen himself is raid-only, and appropriate for approximately 45-52, but almost all of the zone can be done either solo or in a single group at those levels.

Ragefire(Dragon form) no longer appears in SolB. They changed it about four - five months ago to a three to seven day spawn in SkyFire. Only form of Ragefire in SolB is the one on a 24 hour timer that is used for a small turn in.

I cant believe someone would hate the new CT my mains a 60 warrior and i ******* love the zone, i can get almost 2 aa points in an active day, im so glad VI buffed this zone, also the loot is insane.. this zone is now populated mostly by lvl 60s hardly pick up groups hunt here, just friends / guild groups thank god, and its not overcamped like seb and velks *hurray* =P
