He enrages at 10, runs at around 5, immune to run speed changes, summons, and drops Nilitim's Grimoire Pg. 449. Took a hit to Pirates of Iceclad faction when he died. Was amiable (not sure if I did anything for this) and unsure what I'm at now, faction-wise.

Give him firewater that should unstick his hand. Combine gnomish spirits and a water flask in a tool box.

Ok, i cant remember all the words u use to talk with him, but eventually u get him to say that if u can get his hand unstuck that you get the box. NO IDEA THO! Wish someone out there has figured it out, and would post something useful, cause im gonna help that little **** on top of the mtn

gnomish deserter smiles at you and nods congenially. 'Hullo there. Nice ta meet ya.' He moves to shake your hand and then seems to remember that his hand is currently frozen to a very heavy, very solid hunk of metal shaped somewhat like a box.

You say, 'stuck'


gnomish deserter says 'Erm. Well ya see. One day I was on guard duty and a huge white cat knocked me over. It looked like it was running away towards the bridge island. Anyways, I fell into the water. I guess I passed out because next thing I knew I was over near the gnolls laying on top of this huge box. Its then that I made the decision.

gnomish deserter says 'To leave. Im really tired of this pirate stuff. Captain Nalot said it was gonna be great fun and an adventure but all Ive seen is alot of biscuits, slush water, and guard duty. So Im here.

gnomish deserter says 'Yup. This isnt such a bad spot. Its nice and peaceful. I can see for miles and every once in awhile someone like you drops by to talk. Theres no guard duty and I dont have to say 'Arrrr' anymore. That really starts to hurt your throat you know. The only problem I have anymore is my hand frozen to this box. If ya find a way to fix it let me know.
