He was completely stuck in the wall behind the giant fort. What I did was /tar a_human to target him, hit him with a snare, then ran until he dropped off my target bar, then tracked my way back to him.

Found this guy standing on the outside of giant fort south side between the middle 2 support pillars for the wall. I came in zone and he was not up for 3 game hours. He poped up on track when game time hit 6pm so i figure he is not up during daylight game hours.

Found him at Location -807 -908, standing still right beside the Mountain Giant fort. 01/26/2007

Respawn was about 25 Min.

He was stationary, outside Giant Fort, up by the wall.

Have Druid and Ranger on Seperate accounts running through this together, and came here looking for respawn time; so thought I'd post ; )

I have to agree.. just found the skelton as a static spawn by fort

Neg 820 neg 900 , next to Giant fort wall. Was static.

Was in Gemotry, Wolfed up ontop of him and he attacked me, roote and zone, came back in did the hand-in.

I was doing this part of the epic, and was waiting around the SW part of the zone for him to pop because he was not on my track. So after bout 45mins i decide to just roam around the zone for a wee bit cause i heard he also moves throughout the zone. Sure enough, i found him on track, dark blue at lvl 51. So i track him, but there's one problem, he's stuck in the wall of the giant fortress. I can't target him to do turn in, so i was pissed. My SoW started to wear off, i cast Wolf form on my self, and all of a sudden he comes out and starts to attack me. One thing lead to another and since i didn't want to leave the zone for fear of the skele despanwing, i died. Zoned back to PoK. Asked around if someone knew why this happened. And sure enough, it was the wolf form that did it. I went back to FM my normal Half-Elvish self, did turn in with him glaring at me threatingly. First thing, he does not just hang around SW part of zone, So roam around. Second, if you're in wolf form he will agro on you untill you leave the zone. Now for the Jade Reaver :P.

ok are there more than one of these stupid guys in the zone? I got one that conned yellow on track and went to him ... not there and track led me to the middle of the rock. OH BTW he was due west of the Giant Fort Entrance. Loc is like 300 by -200 so way different from what I read here.

Doing my druid's epic, I located this guy in FM.
No big deal.

Problem was that i could not see him or taget him!!

I was 100% sure i was on the spot ( which btw was a big rock west of giant fort). He seemed to be stuck in the rock, bad pathing or bad spwan I guess.

So I used UPHEAVAL to get his attention while being on the spot where I tracked him. Without moving, only turning he would infront and then behind. That means I should be stepping on his toes!! Anyway with UPHEAVAL, HE AGROED AS EXPECTED. So I was in the right spot!!

I rooted him, egreessed and did hand-in.

Reported the pathing bug, will they read it?

Since lvl 30, I've been doing what I can pre-epic (foraging and the like) and once I got a Rose of Firiona, I decided to try for this leg of the quest, since it seemed easy and, if my turn-ins weren't accepted because of my level (now 33), it wasn't that big of a deal since I could just go forage another.

Personally, I think this leg of the quest (some of my higher-level friends have helped me with some of the corrupted mobs) has been the easiest yet, as when I zoned into Frontier Mnts., I just headed for the fort and got the skelly on tracking. He wound up being in a small valley south of the fort, just walking along like nothing had happened. I would recommend you have SoW, and if you're a low-level like me, Superior Camo.
