Just got done camping for about 9.5 hours 4boxed him on progression server 65pally 9100hp 1800ac missing 4rnks of ID - 65sham/mage/cleric MAX HIT seemed to be about 1550 before cripple and about 1250 after cripple but hit me one time for 1750 with cripple on but only once MIN HIT seemed to be about 350 DPS jumped a ton from round to round no special combat skills Partially slowable cripple him it helps!
Managed to melee solo as a Anguish/DP equipped Bard. Used a few potions, but they more than balanced out his melee. Just keep him slowed. Surprisingly long fight given how hard he hits... unmezzable and obviously summons...
Level: 70 Class: Warrior Hit Points: Not Known (Estimate well over 100k) Min Hit: 422 Max Hit: 1484 Rampage: No Enrage: Yes Other Special Attacks: None Cast Spells: No Slowable: Partially
For those that like to duo or multi-box, this part is for you. I was able to duo him with a level 70 Druid and Level 70 Beastlord, but it was tricky and a little risky.
Druid is equipped in mostly PoP era gear (Full Ornate Leather with a few Elemental quality pieces), has Healing Adept Mastery 1 (22% bonus to Healing), and Spirit of Wood 3. Other AA's did not factor into the fight itself as all she did was Debuff and Heal). She also had no focus items that aided in healing, and only had Clarity II + Spiritual Dominion for mana regen buffs.
Beastlord has too much to list, but here's his magelo profile if you want an idea of gear, AA's, and anything else that might be of use: http://eq.magelo.com/profile/566996 The short of it: Close to 9400 Hit Points, 1533 Armor Class, and 1905 Attack when fully buffed between self buffs and Druid buffs.
Strategy is fairly simple. Have druid harmonize the scout next to this guy, then pull using Sun's Corona (or better if you have it) followed by Glacier Breath (again, use better if you have it). Cast Egress to clear agro, then go back to the camp. Don't worry about these debuffs, they last a good 10+ minutes and won't dispel by Egressing.
Have the druid go harmonize the scout next to the battlemaster again, and this time pull him using Hand of Ro (or better). Pull him to camp area, and have Beastlord cast slow and incapacitate on Fabled Battlemaster until they both stick. You should have agro by now, but be sure to use Poison DoT for added measure and DPS.
During the fight, utilize Protective Spirit, Beastial Alignment, and Beastial Freny (use each one separately). Also utilize Spirit of Wood and Perfection of Spirit separately if possible so the health regen parts don't go to waste by being active at the same time. I used Spirit of Wood at the start of the fight, then Perfection of Spirit when the Druid was at 60m. The fight lasted me about 5 minutes, so pace yourself and recast Hand of Ro and Slow when they wear off.
Hand of Ro was very useful btw. The first time I tried him, I didn't cast it or any of my debuffs, and the guy regularly hit me in the 1k+ range. With Hand of Ro, he missed and hit for less much more often.
Hopefully, this information will help everyone going after this guy during the celebration weeks and give you an idea of what's possible or not possible. Happy Hunting.
